Second time eating at Chic-a-boo!

Got the 2 piece chicken set ($9.80) and 1pc chicken 1 pc fried fish set ($9.80). Both set comes with a choice of 1 soft drinks and 2 side dishes! Picked sweet potato fries, curly fries and onion ring!

Having tried both flavours, I hereby declare that I prefer the hot and spicy flavour for the chicken! Their fried fish also taste almost like long john silver's, but theirs is more fried and more chaotah brown!

Very filling meal and at an affordable price point!

Chic-a-boo is another chain of restaurant by Astons that offers quality fried chicken at affordable prices. I ordered the 2pcs chicken set that comes with 2 side dishes and 1 regular soft drink. Additional side dishes are available at $2 per add-on 》$8.90 / 2pcs Chicken Set

The fried chicken has a nice and thin crispy batter. It was flavourful, tender and not oily - Reminds me of Arnold’s fried chicken. I had mashed potato and sweet potato fries as sides. The mashed potato is smooth and thick with a slightly salty and savoury sauce. The sweet potato fries is something I would order again… thick cut sweet potato fries that comes with a nice natural sweet potato favour, served warm with slightly pillowy soft texture.

Colleague was excited to bring us to try the best fried chicken in town, and it turned out to be Chic-a-boo. Totally agree that it is the best fried chicken. Chicken was juicy. Recommend not spicy/ original flavour. Btw, since Chic-a-boo is under Aston, you know the types of sides they are serving.

With sides curly fries and onion rings. I don't remember Chic-a-boo being such big portion. What's unique about their chicken are the crumbly batter and halal-style (it is halal) saltiness. The fish was quite wonderful too, with thick flesh and a good jacket, albeit minimal flavour.
