It comes full of wok-hei, flatten and charred on the outside, filled with sweet-salty chai poh and kailan which adds a nice crunch 》$12 / Small

The conpoy & fish maw soup is thick yet not too starchy. It also comes with a good mix of fish maw and crab meat. Definitely a perfect heart-warming and slurp-worthy dish to share 》$30 / Small
Another chef-recommended item on the menu is these deep-fried prawn balls filled with minced meat and prawn paste then wrapped in beancurd skin. These are fried till golden brown with a nice crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. It goes well on its own or pairs it with the sweet dipping sauce for more flavours 》$10 / Small
Crispy pig trotter was first braised and then deep-fried to a crackling crisp on the outside while retaining the moisture of meat underneath it. This was surprisingly so good. Crispy, chewy and juicy all in one dish. The skin was crackling crispy and I love the fragrant and tasty gelatinous layer between the meat and skin. The meat was juicy and not too salty 》$15 / Small

You know 9/10 of the suckling pig today is Hong Kong "Sha pi" (sand skin) style.
It is rare to find "Liang pi" (shiny skin) style nowadays.
This was a rare find and my dad's favourite suckling pig cooking style.

What a great find! This under the radar restaurant (to us) all the way in Bedok was bustling!
Great range of teochew and hokkien dishes including luxury items like suckling pig (traditional/not Hong Kong style) @$198 and Cold Crab @ 2 for $103.
What blew me away was the 5 star attentive service that you usually don't expect from old fashioned eateries.
Definitely be back!

Fried in pork lard, the orh nee taste was strong and it's topped with a layer of clear water chestnut starch, which helps to lighten the texture if you so wish. It is also topped with sliced water chestnut for textural contrast as well as gingko nuts, but it's probably the creamy pumpkin which completely changes the taste profile when mixed into the orh nee that seals the deal for me.
so sinful, yet so tasty! Do pre-order your suckling pigs in advance if you wanna indulge in some crispy porky goodness!
Reverse gelat!!! At first it was nothing to shout about, but the more we ate it, the more it grew on us. And it’s became super good by the last bite.

Great way to end the night with an authentic Teochew dessert. Creamy smooth orh nee that isn't saccharine sweet. A non-pumpkin alternative is also available. Can see why this is raved about.

Crazy amazing. By far one of the top dishes we had that night. Can't figure out what's so magical about it- the insane wok hei? The silky smooth noodles? How truly simple yet flavourful it is? I really wanted more. Like, order a whole plate to myself & gobble it up!!
