Good value especially with the 1 for 1. Love being able to mix my sauces and side dishes.
Impressed that they had peanuts and kimchi.
Tip: there's a 1 for 1 deal which also gives you a free drink if you pay by UOB
3.5⭐ WB preferred the Tanjong Pagar outlet as he find the ingredients freshest here. I ordered fish set with chicken soup and WB ordered lamb set with Mala soup. The fish set was not available for dinner in the past and I finally has a chance now. I will definitely ordered fish in the future. Although we ordered set menu at City hotpot, the portion is quite filling for us. I preferred the quality of the vegetable here to wagyu more although wagyu more is buffet style. WB insist on giving 5⭐ for hotpot.

4⭐ Had WB favourite food for dinner. We went to the Guocco Tower branch as the ingredients are fresher here. I had the pork belly and chicken soup while WB had lamb leg and Mala soup.

The burpple one for one deal comes with a plate of beef and basket of mixed vegetables. The hotpot is in individual pot which makes it convenient and hygienic for a group of friends that wants specific soup selection. Beef is of great quality. The place is constantly blasting taiwan pop hits, great atmosphere to be back!
Back in the office but craving for hotpot during lunch? City Hot Pot has your back!
And amidst the current COVID situation, diners can be assured about hygiene standards as you will each have your own individual pot! And the best thing? You can go for dual soup bases (+$1) too!
The newly launched lunch special menu is available from on weekdays from 11.30am - 3pm and includes your choice(s) of soup bases, your desired mains options (8 to choose from), a vegetable platter, a staple, sauces and small dishes. We tried all of their recommended sets (Wagyu Chuck Eye Roll, Seafood & Meat, Seafood) and came to one conclusion: It's a steal! Despite the price point, City Hot Pot did not save on the quality! The meats were of a quality cut while the seafood was fresh, with no fishy taste that you will normally associate with hotpots out there.
I also want to point out that their soup bases (14 to choose from) are really good, with very robust flavours; one of the better ones that I have had! My favourite was the herbal chicken soup base and they serve up some includes unique ones too, like Laksa, Bak Kut Teh and Kimchi Soup. And psst, your vegeterian friends can join you here too!
Great range of soups with individual portions, and sides come in a set which is more than enough. Will be back
