Established by Muhammad Sani in 2009, this shop is named for his wife's village in Bandung, West Java, Java, Indonesia.

Their rendition has a base of chewy soft yellow egg noodles, crisp bean sprouts, spongy tofu puffs, crisp green chili, bouncy hard boiled chicken egg, and crisp fried shallots, carrying grainy savoury sweet eggy vegetal spice flavour.

The gravy is balanced but less spicy than elsewhere, thick gloopy smooth with sweet savoury earthy spice flavour. The fermented soy beans are slightly more prominent here, nice.

Finished with a bit of lime juice and kecap manis / sweetened soy sauce, for added sour zesty tangy sweet salty savoury flavour.

Mee rebus is sold out at 11am on a weekday, quite ridiculous
Beef was tough
Curry ckn was alright, the sauce was good but not mind-blowing
Cuttlefish was abit tough and quite spicy
Sambal goreng was surprisingly quite mild
Overall it's alright, worth a try if you're in the area. Also thr queue gets crazy so only if you avoid peak hours(before 11)
The food here was robust in taste and full of flavour. The different texture and varied levels of spiciness, sweetness, nuttiness and “lemak-ness" of the different dishes just come together so well with the steamed rice. I especially enjoyed the beef rendang and curry chicken. Oh and the mee rebus was impressive too.
They say good stuff aren’t cheap and cheap stuff aren’t good but this place has proven the saying wrong.

So I ended up at Desa Rancapanggung for nasi padang.
Many things were sold out by about 12.45pm, so was not able to try their popular dishes such as beef rendang and Mee rebus. Instead, had chicken curry, sambal goreng and a too-sweet mussels dish.
My lunch date had fried chicken, egg sambal and veg.
Our total: $10.50.
Over at Desa Rancapanggung, this nondescript hawker stall within a food court might seemed unassuming but oh boy, they are more than your regular nasi padang stall. Especially the beef rendang which was cooked till fork tender, this is truly one of the best versions that I have tasted as the rempah has seeped into the meat and you can truly taste the Asian flavours and herbs in each bite. Besides that, the sambal goreng is a great complement to the rice but I would wish for more tempeh in it.
