3 Course Steak Set Lunch

$58.00 · 15 Reviews

While we enjoyed this very much, at $32 for 2 crab cakes, we could have a very nice main course somewhere else.

We chose the Lobster Bisque for starters which was disappointing as it was too watery and salty.
The 2 mains we got were the Barramundi and Wagyu Beef. Both were decent but nothing spectacular.
Ended off with a chocolate tart and ice cream which was alright as well. Overall, quite disappointing. Not sure if the steak would have been a better choice.

However their side of sweet potato, bacon and blue cheese ($16) is a stronger contender for the 3rd.

The worst complement to an already heavy steak, bad decisions are an exception for this. Deliciously rich, the sweet potatoes are the ideal vessel for that super savoury bacon blue cheese umami time bomb.

📍: Bedrock Bar and Grill
🚂: Somerset
💸: $30-60 per person during lunch around $150 during dinner ⚖️: will definitely be back soon (with the entertainer🤞) their set lunch is much better priced, so go for that for a more affordable alternative.

Recently had an insatiable craving for good steak at great value. This place certainly made the grade with cozy ambience, freshly baked bread, and thick cut of steak grilled to perfection. 👨🏽‍🍳Got a little more time to sneak out for a longer lunch? Check out the steak set lunch specials available Mon - Sun, 12pm - 3pm. Recommend to pair this with one of the Spanish wines from the Rioja region. [4.5/5 👅]

Our only main course: steak! 😋😋😋 Haha we are mainly here to try different kinds of meat, some guys like them medium rare and a few of us prefer medium to well-done so we ordered a few choices and asked to be cooked different ways. With average price of 90+ per steak, they don't disappoint. My personal favourite is the namesake dish of Bedrock Pepper Steak, a 300g, 350 days grain fed wagyu ribeye, with black peppercorn sauce, shiok!! 😆😆 The bone marrow is really nice, filled with goody fats 😂😂 We used Entertainer vouchers for one for one deals for the main and felt more worth it 😆😆 #lunch #saturday #food #goodfood #eat #eatwell #feast #meat #meatlover #grilled #steak #wagyu #ribeye #beef #pepper #bonemarrow #carnivore #foody #foodie #foodiegram #foodstagram #instagood #instadaily #instafood #gathering #party #friends #christmas #entertainer #burpple

I'm a fan of dry aged steaks, but when Bedrock told us they were unavailable on our visit we turned to the next best thing which were the USDA Prime Ribeye Steaks.

A good steak in my books is when its packed full of flavour, decently sized and well cooked. And Bedrock does a really good job of ticking off all the boxes but at a premium price point ($96 for 400g). If you're a value hunter like me, consider getting the Entertainer App that gives you 1-for-1 on main courses. Oh and don't forget to try the sauces too, I liked the wholegrain whiskey mustard and the bedrock chilli oil. (They were very kind to give us the sauces on the house since we couldn't get our dry aged steaks)

Bedrock has long established its reputation for fine meats and stellar cooking, and we love how its warmly lit interiors offer an oasis of calm in bustling Somerset. While their steaks can be pricey when ordered off the ala carte menu, their steak set lunch ($58 for three courses) is truly value-for-money. The current menu offers a choice of a NY steak with classic bearnaise, a juicy wagyu minute steak with shallot sauce, and a rib eye served with thyme butter. If you're dining with a non-beef lover, fret not. Bedrock also offers seafood and poultry set menus ($38 for three courses), with options like a delicious-sounding pressed boneless corn-fed chicken with beluga lentils. As for dessert, we have our eyes set on the sticky stout and toffee pudding.

Bedrock is really good for business lunches because of the comfortable surroundings and spacious tables that can fit your MacBook and conversations well. As for my choice of mains, the 200grams 1.2inch thick striploin fills you up really well. I personally prefer the ribeye steak. I love how each juicy slice of meat went with the béarnaise. What a satisfying lunch!

It's an art to cook meat perfectly and Bedrock did an amazing job as you can see. This woodfire grilled Ribeye steak came on a bed of sautéed mushrooms and finished with some thyme butter for that luxurious finish.

It's all yours for $58++ with a starter and dessert as part of their 3-course weekday set lunch.

A delight for salmon lovers as you look down on five pieces of House Cured Salmon that have been carefully plated with radish and picked cucumber, surrounding a halved egg stuffed with salmon roe that is sitting on top of a bed of salad greens.

This dish was part of the 3-course set lunch that they offer for $38++ (if you choose a main of Seafood, Poultry or Pie), or $58++ for steaks mains.
