Very nice interior with good food! The chilli prawn sauce was perfectly balanced with the right amount of sweet and spicy and the prawns were plump! The meekia was fragrant and yummy as well. Good place to hang out and chill

There's nothing more comforting than the tze char staple of a piping hot bowl of horfun swimming in a moreish egg-streaked gravy laden with seafood. @enjoyeatinghouse first fries their flat rice noodles till they attain a crisp, brown char before pouring on plentiful egg drop sauce and a heapful of pork, fish slices, prawns, squid and shiitake mushrooms.

Thanks @burpple for the invite and @enjoyeatinghouse for the hospitality!

The chilli prawns with mantou and the Pitan Tofu were THE BEST 😱 The staff was also really helpful when I asked about their different stouts as part of their tasting set. Loved what they recommended and had a good experience!

Excellent Food, Local-Themed Decorations, Value for Money

“Enjoy Eating House” is near to town at Mercure on Stevens. I like the Welcoming Ambience with Local-Themed Decorations.
I am impressed of their creative way in making their menu in a chinese-traditional-calender design to blend in the restaurant decorations.

Friendly Service. Very Courteous staff.

My family really enjoyed all the dishes that we have ordered. Spicy Lala (was recommended), Steamed in Superior Soy Sauce Whole Fish (Delicate), Ugly Cabbage in Fish Sauce (MUST TRY), and my nephew loves the dish “Chef Joel’s BBQ Pork Cheek” especially.
As for the drink, we had ordered Lemongrass tea. The Iced version was mildly sweet. Very refreshing, perfect drink to wash everything down after a hearty meal.

Worth the money for such a delicious meal

*** Few days after my meal in “Enjoy Eating House”, my friend shared with me their *Teochew “Orh Ni”* is a “MUST TRY” dessert, and so we Definitely will be back for more!

Ugly Cabbage in Fish Sauce
When the dish first came, the fragrance hooked everyone at the table. It was just cabbage yet everyone wanted to eat more. I have never eaten a more delicious plate of cabbage other than the one here.

Chef Joel’s BBQ Pork Cheek
It is well grilled, yet inside was juicy and tender. It is my nephew’s favourite dish - tasty, savory.

Steamed in Superior Soy Sauce Whole Fish
My family loves the steamed fish, the moisture in the fish is retained, that makes it so tender, oh-so-delicate and tasty. Drizzle in fragrant savoury sauce, this is something that would make you want to eat more rice!

Spicy Lala
A MUST TRY to fans of enjoying spicy food!

Tried the Sui Bian set which gave us a variety of the restaurant's specialty dishes and my favourite was the Chilli Prawns with the Mantou. The gravy was rich and flavourful and the Mantou remained crispy even after dipping it in the sauce.

We loved that Chef Joel’s Signature BBQ Pork was roasted to porky perfection and sinfully indulgent in every bite.

Their Shiok Minced Prawn Patties was equally enjoyable as it was savoury seafood bites fried to a golden crisp and dipped in a sweet tangy sauce, making it a choice appetiser.

Not to forget Chef Joel’s XO White Fish Soup, a light yet fragrant collagen based broth that’s great for lunch and hearty enough for dinner.

Definitely will be back for more!
