Look at this spread! My first time trying Mediterranean food and it was refreshing. The pita bread was warm and fluffy. This set comes with 8 pita breads, baba ghanoush, falafel, hummus and tabbouleh. I loved the baba ghanoush because it was on the tart side and reminded me of sun-dried tomatoes. The hummus could have done with a little more flavour.

Working around the CBD offers endless lunch options but why not try something new? This casual Mediterranean cafe is located in Nankin Row along Pickering Street, serving up classic Middle Eastern vegetarian dishes such as Falafel and Eggplant Pitas at $11 each. Try their $20 Big Dipper Set , which comes with Falafel, Hummus, Tabbouleh & Babaganoush. Burppler Nicole And sang high praises and "Love how the flavours come together to give such a satisfying taste."

Best are the falafels, made with broadbeans instead of the usual chickpeas, although they are a bit pricey at $2.50 for a tiny piece. Friendly place with the Egyptian owner running the show himself. Hope the economics work out for them, as this location has high rents and they have lots of staff.

I’ve come to Fill a Pita a few times for my Middle Eastern vegetarian fix. This time I got the Eggplant Pita Sandwich ($11) which was great - the eggplant and salad mix inside was really nicely seasoned. Definitely drop by if you’re looking for something fulfilling yet healthy!

2.8/5 - got the $20 big dipper set with burpple beyond that came with not very flavourful hummus, falafel (that was was in between hard and crispy), tabbouleh and eggplant that were too sour. pita bread was warm and nice.

The menu is 100% vegetarian and 100% halal - mostly sandwiches in Pita (Arabic) bread, salads and dips. Everything is prepared on site daily except for their Pita bread. Their Pita is freshly baked every morning from a local bakery. And their falafels are prepared using fresh herbs that are baked instead of fried for healthy option. .

I enjoyed the Pita bread with Fava beans from the single platter ($15 comes with a drink). You can taste the freshness of their Pita bread. For deliveries within a 5km radius, there's a $2.50 fee and free above $40. Deliveries outside a 5km radius, there's a $6 fee and free delivery for orders above $70.

It amazes me how there is simply so much to learn about food variety and culture. This is an Egyptian dish originally made in the 19th century - the simple concept is rice with toppings. But the ‘rice’ base is actually mixed with lentils, macaroni, rice topped with garlic vinegar and chickpeas. Mix it in the spicy middle-eastern flavoured tomato sauce plus plenty of fried shallots and you will be surprised how more-ish it can be.

Scroll right for more Middle Eastern favourites like hummus (!! a chickpea spread), pita (flat leavened bread) and falafel. The version of falafel (deep fried chickpea/lentil balls) here are slightly different in the spices. It’s rare to find anyone else who appreciates Middle Eastern - raise your hands?

The single platter is a great spread of 4 freshly baked pita bread, 2 falafels, fava beans, hummus and labna cheese. All the components were delicious and rich in flavours. The green #falafel (not featured in the photo as it was served later) is a deep-fried ball that amazingly isn’t oily or dry and highly tasty with its mix of chickpea and fava beans. With #entertainersg 1-1 platter, the meal was highly affordable and satisfying

This is the immense sharing platter for two with (clockwise from top left) baba ganoush, labna, garlic hummus, pita and of course falafel 🥙💕 We substituted the fava beans for the baba g as it’s my fave. This is, as far as I know one of the only Egyptian restaurants in Singapore! I had a glass of Hibiscus 🌺 juice (not pictured) which is the first time I’ve had it since being in Egypt itself back in 2006!!! #egyptianfood #falafel #hummus #pita #pitabread #middleeastern #middleeasternfood
