A chilled Saturday brunch out with friends saw us at Hatched, but to my disappointment the standards there seemed to have dropped pretty significantly since the last time I was there! I had the Tortilla Espanola which was basically fried eggs sitting atop some roasted potatoes, bell peppers and onions and topped with salsa and 2 slices of plain toast. The eggs were lacking seasoning, the vegetables were cold and the bread slices came plain and tastes meh. Out of all the dishes my friends had, I'd say only the rosti tasted decent!
A cup of rise latte chase the demon away. If I remember correctly it's about $5.50. the fragrance is so strong that rose has actually the coffee smell but it's good. Rose meet Jack!
Sir benedict 2 eggs at $19. It serve with ham and bacon. That includes a photo and veg salads. Worth it. Drop by to try that.
Fluffy eggy toast. Lacks custardiness (?) That i like from french toast 3.75/5
Discovered a cafe !!
Rainbow cheesecake ($6) with beautiful colour and the Staffs are very friendly. Ordered the cheesy fries ($12) which is also tasty too.
Top: Sir benedict, bottom: smoked royale. Not that worth for the price (~$20 for each)
Had this for breakfast, loved the ambience and the creamy mashed potato. The eggs were well executed, a very satisfying breakfast! Its a bit pricey with the two eggs and with the GST & service charges.

Great baked Eggs with chewy melted cheese and bacon served with toast! The Palm Belgian beer went great with it! :D
Finally came here after seeing countless Instagram posts and reviews raving about the egg theme and (best) eggs benedict in town. The poached eggs themselves sure lived up to the name. Smoked Royale was great; eggs were well-poached, well-seasoned and perfectly runny. Sir Benedict wasn't impressive - bacon seemed a little overcooked but eggs were still poached well. Great place for brunch, especially if you're looking for an egg fix.
What to do when you feel Royale ?!?

Never imagine roasted chicken can goes well with scrambled egg! The wrap isn't just normal wrap but taste a bit like Roti Prata!
Le Rossini - scrambled eggs drizzled with truffle oil, dressed with Foie Gras, atop toasted Brioche. Delightful!
Love the corned beef. The poached egg was not so sour too and the runniness suited my taste well (don't fancy too runny egg, so yeah).. Also ordered flat white (not pictured), could taste the rich coffee.
I'm usually a coffee person but once in a while, I love the calming and soothing effect of tea. :)
Cheese lovers will definitely love this! The Oozy Baked Egg is filled with French onions, melted cheese, my favourite mushroom and bacon! Eat it while it's hot and not forgetting to dip the white bread into the baked egg!
Super love the Egg Benedict! The way they poached the egg is damn good not too sour which means they didn't put in too much vinegar when they cook the poached egg. And the hollandaise sauce is not too buttery! Dipping the English Muffin in hollandaise sauce is just heavenly!
