Hock Lam Beef Noodles is indeed worth raving for! I like the way they allow customization for their noodle. Opted for the herbal soup option. Expected something lighter but to my surprise it came in a thick herbal broth which was a pleasant surprise. Liked how flavorful the broth was filled with the aroma of different Chinese herbs. Each beef slice was so tenderly good and each meat ball was so firm and bouncy. Every sip of soup will definitely warm you up on a cold rainy day!
Sadly this is the my first and last post here, as they will closing down this outlet due to understaffing. Well Iโm still love the taste of their beef noodle. For $11.90, you get bowl of the noodle plus a drink and snack. Well next time I can visit their only outlet at Alexandra.

Had the beef noodles with hand cut beef slices and beef shanks. I must say the beef shanks were really tender! Felt that the soup could be more herbal though.
He had been visiting this stall since 20yrs ago. Even after took the stall had been took over by the owner daughter, she was still able to up hold the standard. Code from my dad, "it seem like the depth of flavor wasn't there". But after the years of inflation, the bowl seem to be getting smaller
I prefer a beefy soup to herby soup.
Their soy egg really can't make it.

I couldn't really taste the crispiness of the peanut but it was quite a interesting idea.

Beef Kway Teow Soup Hainanese style, fit for a king. Still the some goodness after all this while. My order includes sliced raw beef, beef tendon, chicken nugget (?!?) and stewed peanuts.
Dreaming of deep dark brown gooey gravy enveloping the chor bee hoon (thick white noodle). Every single strand will be like glistening and feels slippery to the touch as the gravy drools.

Gorged each strand and morsel. It is slurpworthy. This bowl costs $5 (original $8.90) if you order before 11.30 am. Good deal because it is really packed with lotsa ingredients. It is not a dream. It is already in my happy tummy.
