First off, this dish is perfect for those who hate the hassle of peeling crab meat from the shells, as all the meat is de-shelled and wrapped up inside the bun with the chilli crab sauce! Taste-wise, the sauce is a nice mix of sweet and spicy, and is generously filled with crab meat too! The bun itself has a crusty exterior while the interior is soft and fluffy. Best way to enjoy this is to dip the bun into the chili crab sauce and eat it, definitely a winning combination! Pro tip: the overall taste is even better if you toast the bun, trust me on that! Lastly, this dish is good to share amongst 3-4 pax.

Both versions of their Sri Lankan crabs were delicious! They were really fresh and meaty as well! But if I had to choose a favourite, it would probably be the Black Pepper Crab, because in terms of flavour it had a slight edge over the Chili Crab. Other favourites from this selection are the creamy Pork Ribs w/ Chef’s Special Sauce and the Mee Goreng, which had a good spicy kick!

I ordered Prawn in Salted Egg Yolk sauce 中 Medium $28. Came 7 small pieces of small prawn about the size of a credit card each. That works out to $4 / small mini prawn. Called to feedback and they say it is the season now. Seriously?

This childhood dish is always so expensive despite just using canned trotters. Got this cheap at a food fest.
I’m not usually a fan of curry dishes, however this one took my fancy. The crab is soaked in the sauce that was flavourful and the curry was not overwhelming or too milky so you could still tastes the fresh crab meat. If you’re looking for a very spicy curry dish, this is not for you. The curry was not overly creamy but it had enough flavour that infused the crab meat unlike most of the other crab dishes where the crab was merely tossed in or drizzled over with sauce. Out of all the crab dishes we tried, most of us liked this the most.
Out of the crabs we tried (Stylo Milo Crab, Creamy Oreo Crab, Zesty Fruitti Crab, Garlicious Crab, Curry 'O' Crab), this would be my second favourite as the tangy sauce was a little spicy as well. If you like tropical fruits, give this one a go.
Another flavour similar to the Milo Crab here, this is also covered in a malty flavoued butter sauce and unless you have bits of the Oreo biscuits with it, the flavour of Oreo is not very evident. But with that said, if you like creamy malty flavours like me, you'll like the butter sauce too. Although it does get a little overwhelming after a couple of pieces of crab. Best shared with friends!
Undoubtedly the crabs here are fresh, but for a few of the dishes, the flavours aren't really evident when eating the crab, like for this garlic crab. Although, the cloves of garlic served with the crabs are sweet and flavourful and will probably give you really kissable breath after.
I would suggest having the curry crab or the 'Zesty Frutti Crab' that's a little spicy and is served with pineapple slices.
A very interesting flavour. The crabs here are fresh Sri Lankan crabs and in this particular dish, the crabs are covered in a malty tasting butter sauce then covered with crushed Milo biscuit crumbs. You'll need to have the crab and some crumbs together to taste the Milo which isn't very evident in the sauce. Same goes with the Oreo flavoured crab dish. But not bad for a new twist to a traditional dish.

It's definitely one of the most unique flavoured crab i ate! Love the Oreo bits to the max and the buttery taste that flows down the crab are just tempting and addictive 🤤😝! Be sure to try this!🦀

Celebrated my birthday at House of Seafood yesterday. Black Pepper Crab - It was really good. The meat was fresh and succulent. The crab they used was huge too. There was a kick in the spices used, but it wasn't too spicy. Wok Fried Prawns with Fragrant Butter - Loved the sauce that was thick and creamy. Crispy Beancurd with Chef's Special Sauce - The Beancurd was crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. Wished there was more of the Special Sauce tho. Honey Chicken with Fragrant Garlic Chips - The sauce was good but wished the chicken was more tender and not so dry.
House of seafood have launched a “Beauty” in a Seafood Tower, which consists of 7 layers of seafood. Expect crab, prawn, bamboo clam, clam, mussel, scallop, squid, and vegetables. You can request for the servers to steam the seafood for you.

Last evening, D brought the family for a dinner treat to celebrate his recent promotion. We made table reservations for 6 pax using the #quandoo app and was quite upset that we didn't get the indoor seating as booked. Generally the food was decent, with the highlight going to their Black Pepper Crab (1.2kg for S$ 72). The portioning of the other items so small that its considered pricey. Other items that we ordered: Chilli Crab (1.2kg for S$ 72), Fried Man Tou (12 pieces for S$ 9.60) , Salted Egg French Beans (M size for S$ 16), Honey Pork Ribs (M size for S$ 24), Seafood Casserole (M size for S$ 50) and Sweet Sour Chicken with Quail eggs (M size for S$20). Miscellaneous items paid: Wet tissues (6pieces for S$1.80) , Started crackers (S$ 2), pickles (S$ 2) and Hot Tea (S$5). Total bill inclusive 10% service charge and 7%GST is S$326.50. Their restaurant speciality is their black pepper crab. They are very generous with their black pepper sauce. The sauce is thick and you don't get to see bit of pepper in it. That's how fine their black pepper suace is. It is spicy and smooth! It's totally worth my try. I will try their chilli crab on my next visit.
My another favourite! Smells wonderful, tasted too good! The butter is superb! 》$20
This way of cooking metod is something that I have never tried. The french beans I usually eat tends to have gravy around. It is something different for me to try. These are dry (no gravy) and crunchy with dried shimps around it. I would say that this is good to try but I would try other vegetables on my next visit 》$10
We didn't want to have plain rice and their staff recommended this to us. Tasted average to me. It's kind of bland and I don't get to taste the XO sauce. The tables around us each have one of this dish on their table. Perhaps it's just me who doesn't know how to appreciate this 》$12
