Kwaytiao noodles + chicken wing + crackers + cabbage + daogua @ $5.20
Nothing beats a good plate of economic beehoon (or other noodles) for breakfast. And everything is accentuated by the very good chilli.
Watched the aunties working the whole time while eating and noticed that they put heaps of noodles and ingredients on everybody's plates (I asked for less for mine) so everybody gets a very very generous portion of food.
Old neighbourhoods like this are the best.
I ordered bee hoon, with fried chicken wing, egg, fish cake and ngoh hiang.
For me the chicken is the highlight, its slight crisp outside, juicy inside.
Its very big portion, I can't finish it myself π

πHup Lee Fried Bee Hoon.
101 Yishun Avenue 5.
Although this is in Chong Pang and it also sells nasi lemak, but this is not the famous Chong Pang nasi lemak.
I have not had enough fried bee hoon to say if this is the best fried bee hoon in Singapore but it is definitely my favorite.
