Since you are already here, you should also try some of their maki as well. They actually have quite a wide range of maki available here.

Each pieces comes with juicy unagi with it’s authentic sauce.

There wasn’t many Japanese restaurants in Bedok area and it is interesting to find this standalone Japanese restaurant at Bedok South, beside The Marketplace @ 58.

Started as a Japanese fish market selling Japanese ingredients for sashimi and sushi. Now they have converted the shop and open for dine in as well.

They have a very valuable lunch set available Monday to Thursday from 11:30am to 4pm, which comes with miso soup and hot green tea.

A very simple rice bowl with pieces of karaage chicken, dip with some mayonnaise sauce.

@izumijapanesesg is a hidden food gem in the heartlands of Bedok, offering affordable Japanese cuisine for patrons to dig into, as well as fresh & frozen seafood for purchase. I was pretty amazed by their extensive menu which consists of sashimi, sushi, maki, donburi, soba, various air-fried side dishes & appetisers!

I left the place with my tastebuds, tummy and wallet feeling satisfied ☺️.

No matter how busy I am, I can't let my stomach growling. Thanks to foodpanda app! I've ordered Japanese cuisine and received right to my door. Featuring Salmon Fantasy, Unagi Donburi Rice Bowl, Lobster Salad, and Edamame. The food was nice and warm especially Salmon Fantasy. Aburi salmon had a nice torch with a crisp surface and grilled salmon aroma 😋. .

Whilst the teriyaki-forward bara chirashi don tasted every bit its Upper Changi Road lineage (see: chopped up kani stick), there's an earnest charm to its efforts - from the sesame seeds adding some appetite-enhancing fragrance to the ebiko lending itty-bitty crunch. 3.2/5
