Very good!!!!! Taro milk was better than milksha in my opinion and adding brown sugar to taro milk is probably the best decision ever made. The brown sugar pearls are super chewy and flavorful and to me, better than tiger sugar, but I feel like the milkiness of tiger sugar wins in terms of creaminess. ✨

Left: Brown sugar milk tea
Right: Oolong macchiato (add milk foam)

Verdict: IMO: This is just an average bubble tea stall. The brown sugar just tasted super sweet and no caramel taste that I taste from other brown sugar bubble teas.

As for the oolong macchiato, the oolong tea wasn’t that strong and the milk foam wasn’t v creamy so even when I mix it, the taste was average.

My re-visit to get this Brown Sugar Taro Milk (M $5.90) from @jenjudansg says a lot on how much i really like it! 😋😋😋 Hand-mashed in-house daily, you are bound to enjoy the earthy flavours that those chunky taro cubes & taro mash bring 🍠, which perfectly mellows & complements the aromatic brown sugar and creamy milk tea! ❤

Oreo Brown Sugar Milk Tea (~$5.90) seemed impressive from the numerous photos I’ve seen, but really it was mostly filled with ice (couldn’t customise the ice level) with not much milk tea 🥤The pearls were good, with a good bite to it: chewy, slightly soft, and probably one of the better pearls out there 🍪
.
Oreo flavour was a tad anticlimactic, and I feel that it didn’t really go well with the salty milk foam 🥛🍪 Overall I’d recommend to ditch this; I had a few sips of the drink and before I knew it; I was finished :-(

Finally tried jenjudan and sadly, this ranks as my least fav brown sugar milk tea out of all that I’ve ever tried. The matcha green tea had a decent matcha taste, but because it wasn’t milk-based, it tasted somewhat diluted, and the fragmented ice pieces in this drink certainly didn’t help. (You can’t adjust the ice level either.) I also thought that the brown sugar taste in this drink was the weakest of all places, and their pearls have this weird, incredibly slimy texture that I found quite offputting. Jenjudan is also much pricier than other places. Wouldn’t recommend trying this, would stick to Chicha San Chen if you’re thinking of buying a pricier bubble tea instead.
