From the Burpple community

it was icy and refreshing, yet packed full of flavour. i exceptionally liked the chia seed pudding (which i am usually not a fan of) but the use of coconut milk made it very creamy and paired well with the light acai base!!

Made with nut-based milk, these smoothie bowls are exactly what the doctor ordered for a hot day! Found them while roaming Botanic Gardens and this was wonderfully refreshing while still feeling healthy. The texture leans slightly icier but it still has that creamy, full flavour. We came on a public holiday, but you can get these 1-for-1 with #BurppleBeyond usually!✌️

Glad it didn’t melt fast though it was hot as hell! Been craving for this since the GLOW Festival.

A break from all the rich foods I have been inhaling of late, JUJU’s vegan frozen dessert bowl was just what I needed ($8.50/ Regular). Hence, with Burpple Beyond, we opted for a vibrant twist of their Dragon and Mango Smoothie Bowls which was on rotation that week. Drizzled with chocolate or a choice of organic peanut butter, each serving came with sliced bananas, blueberries, granola, cacao nibs, mulberries and their house-made chia seed pudding which I was glad to know didn’t contain yogurt (a lovely staff told us that the secret is nut-based milk). Healthy and clean tasting, both flavours had great intensity. The Dragon offering a sweet blend of grapes, watermelon, medjool dates, filtered water and of course red dragonfruit; while the other was a more refreshing mix of mango, passionfruit, apple, lemons as well as dates. Packing on the antioxidants, fibre, vitamins and minerals, the texture was also relatively smooth and thick like most sorbets.

Tried the at the AIA Glow festival. 2 dressings to choose from, either chocolate or peanut butter! Peanut butter tasted weird with the smoothie bowl in my opinion, would recommend chocolate instead. Liked both the dragonfruit and mango flavors, but the blueberries in them were still frozen and stuck tgt! :-/
