The egg tart was served hot and tasted really good, the crust was crumbly 😋

I felt that the bun used to be crispier on top and softer inside but it was still pretty good as compared to the rest.

It’s not like the cafe where you can get coffee/brunch and chill for the morning... In Hk cafe, you gotta be fast and expect to share table with strangers. You got to know what to order before stepping in the shop if they are busy. Don’t expect good service from the staff 🤣 Instead of coffee, they are more well known for their Stocking milk tea (丝袜奶茶)

Kam Wah Cafe 金華冰廳 are known for their Egg tarts and Pineapple Polo Buns (菠萝包). It’s Cripsy and sweet on the outside and soft in the inside with a thick slab of butter. Usually sold out by noon.. Hk cafe usually sell all kinds of food mostly western and chinese. I love their instant noodle🤣, Pork chop bun and Hk milk tea. During my trip, i have been coming to Kam wah for breakfast or supper, can never get sick of it. They even sell Singapore Bee Hoon (新州米粉) but not nice ah haha.

Freshly baked daily, this was pull apart pillowy soft with a slightly sweet golden crust that crumbles with every bite. It was so good that we went in to have another one.

Feeling like death now because the damn virus that has been making just about everyone fall sick recently just absolutely refuses to leave me alone. It's been two weeks! 😪 .

I'm not even hungry, which is definitely abnormal, and I have absolutely no appetite for anything except... INSTANT NOODLES. My comfort food just about anywhere.

Somehow, instant noodles just taste better in Hong Kong?

After a day of eating our way through Macau, we returned to Kowloon and.....continued eating, of course!

I'm battling a sore throat right now, but would give anything to be able to dig into this plate of instant noodles and succulent pork chop ensconced in a mildly spicy curry and blanketed in melted cheese!
