Mango syrup was nice and not overpowering so you get to taste the other syrups as well. Cant really taste the condensed milk for some reason but still really good overall

The syrups were sufficiently sweet and each had a distinct flavour too, however the durian puree overpowers the other flavours. Generous amounts of ingredients below while the durian puree was pungent and smooth. Delicious and a steal at its price

"The winner here is Durian Ice Kachang🎉🎉!"

The location is quite far from where i live😭.
The nearest bus stop is Blk 463.

I went there in the afternoon, and ordered durian ice kachang, bo bo cha cha, and mango sago.

- Durian Ice Kachang ($2.8)
They shaped the ice like a big ball, and put 4 types of syrup. Suprisingly, in the bottom of the bowl, there are a lot of things, such as red beans, jelly, corn, etc. They also gave a generous amount of durian and put it on top!
So durian lovers, come and try!

- Bo Bo Cha Cha ($2.3)
It's similar as another bo bo cha cha i've ever tried, but this one is less sweet, i like the taste of it. Ordered for the hot one, i think it'll be nice if it is hotter.

- Mango Sago ($3)
They give generous amount of mango. And pink, green jelly. Mango is not too sweet. The taste is quite blur for me.

This place is having people coming in again and again, and most of them take it home. So i think this place is quite famous and delicious. Because the price is supeerrr reasonable!

This bowl of ice kachang is not only pretty (Instagram worthy picture) but it takes really good too! It has the right amount of all the sugary syrups, a generous amount of other ingredients (red bean, sweet corn, grass jelly, attap chee, etc.) In it and top it off with the rich mango sauce. This is no doubt a perfect dessert to cool yourself down in this crazy humid weather.

Price: $3 - Mango Sago; $2 - Cendol

They're really just your average tasting desserts.

But if you happen to stay around the neighbourhood, it's a pretty good place to hang out and chill. Not to mention, they serve both hot and cold desserts at very affordable prices.

As temperatures continually rise, cool down fast with bowls of icy treats at this Jurong West dessert stall. A favourite spot in the neighbourhood, Kim Lotus Dessert sees perpetual queues for their comforting sweet treats. It helps that the desserts are priced affordably — most average at $2, and there are over 40 options to choose from. Try the Mango Ice Kachang ($2.80), which puts a fruity spin on the familiar dessert, or the Mango Sago ($3.10) if you want big mango chunks instead. The generous ingredients see the likes of attap chee (palm seeds), red beans, sweet corn, grass jelly and agar agar. Tastemakers Wei Zhi Chiang and Zhihui Lim note that even though the mountain of shaved ice had been thoroughly drenched in a variety of flavoured syrups, condensed milk and mango purée, it didn't taste artificial and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. For something a little richer, go for the Bo Bo Cha Cha ($2.30), available both hot and cold. Bear in mind that only the hot version sees the addition of red rubies!
