Zai Shun's version is legit and really tasty. You can eat it as is, or with your congee or rice like me.
Lol! 👻😈😱 Garlic Crab 🦀🦀🦀 at our APAC team dinner tonight - simple, yet intensely fragrant and flavorful (I've never been served this much garlic on a plate before!!). Just forget about getting close and intimate with anyone tonight too! 😏😜😲😷

Thai-style pork knuckle to-die-for. It sure is heart clogging but boy oh boy is it worth every drop of fat.
The stall "Roast Paradise" is run by two 3rd Gen Hawkers in the prime of their youth. Simply wanting to bring great taste to simple hawker fare. The char Siew meat is tender and juicy with a thin layer of fat beneath what is crisp, light, savoury with a tinge of sweet and burnt Flavours that simply melt in your mouth! A must try when u are next at Old Airport Road food centre! Thanks #burpple and @eileenongxt for a great day out on #TastyTastemakerTour ard the Mountbatten area!
I was surprised with a stunning ramen experience of their Fire Ramen, which their senior chef set a spectacular flame to the ramen by pouring burnt garlic oil over it. The addition of the burnt garlic oil enhanced the flavour of the pork bone broth and brings out the aromatic fragrance of the spring onions. Overall, a satisfying bowl of ramen.
Advanced order is required for this Fire Ramen and is only available at both Orchard Gateway and Century Square branches.
There are 7 durian pastries such as these Durian Puffs that you can eat to your heart desire. But do note that the price might be on a steeper end of $35.80 per person just for the dessert buffet.
So much bacon, I'm in bacon heaven!
PS: The return of #theaccidentalhandmodel! Hahaha. 😹😹
Any place that bothers to make their own pesto already gets me excited. The Betterfield cafe goes one step further by putting a spin on things with their own take using coriander. When the pasta and mushrooms are cooked in this unique pesto sauce along with garlic, shallots and parsley, the result is insanely aromatic.
We ventured to the far north-east for this, and while I relished the chill-out vibe of the locale – I really felt like I wasn't in Singapore, the food was quite hit-and-miss.
Kudos to the staff who didn't even bat an eyelid when I clumsily knocked my glass of iced tea over while trying to take a photo of a plate of waffles and eggs, and placidly mopped up the mess without casting me so much as a dirty side-eye, which I would have rightfully deserved.
Because the prata here is so darn good, this humble stall commands a queue, especially on weekends. Everything is made from scratch using fresh, good quality ingredients, which is, sadly, not easy to find at prata stalls these days. Freshly made and fried, the prata here is crispy on the outside, chewy, buttery, very slightly sweet and most of all, not greasy. The kosong is good, but even better is their Coin Prata (essentially prata nuggets, 6 pieces for $3.50) — thicker, crispier, chewier, fluffier. Paired with curry that's spicier than the norm, this is one kickass breakfast. Besides prata, they also have nasi briyani, mee goreng, and the like.
Noodles were smooth and chewy but fish slices were slightly fishy. Chili was very spicy! Broth was very tasty
