Healthy To Go
Special Salmon of the day was Mentaiko Salmon!
So Glad it is in Bugis!
The onsen egg were a tad overcooked but great to mix it in with the whole grain Ninja Rice.
Great place for a ninja quick hearty lunch in the area, serving relatively good coffee to go with your bowl!
Granola is often viewed and branded as a healthy food - but there is often lots of sugar & fats hidden within. Read Proof here - www.proofandpudding.com
You might be familiar Grin Affair - selling cakes in jars that promotes desserts made with real food - without all the artificial stuff, with less sugar and oils!
Proof and Pudding continued that ideology and started their very own Ancient Grains Granola, stating every single ingredient that goes into your food! Sweeten and seasoned with coconut oil and coconut palm sugar! Best thing of all? They are sold at affordable prices (5 servings - from $6.50)
Cleverly tying in with their cakes in jar concept, they offer natural pot set yoghurt that is sweetened with organic agave nectar. On top of that, you get to choose the level of sweetness of your preference. Neat eh? These yoghurt parfaits are available from 5 March at their Bishan outlet! Try them out and do some good to your body today!
My pick of Lean Green Machine ($5) - celery, kale, Asian pear, lemon that was suppose to help me rid belly fats (!!) 🙈😹 Hopefully it works and I get to eat even moreeeeee!
I usually would not go for salads, but this was a refreshing change. The lychee dressing made it light and easy to eat, though I didn't catch much hints of lychee. The grilled tiger prawn had a nice seasoned coating which added extra flavours to the whole salad.
Healthy Midweek guys! 🙆🏻
First time trying out hummus, and I can't tell you hummus I like it! 😹 I really pita the fool (like me) who haven't tried it till now! Creamy soft and comforting, like a healthy rendition of mash potato!
Basic favourites like the Red/White Shakshaku ($13.90) are the few I've tried before today's visit 🙆🏻 Super flavourful for tomatoes sauce and really appetising to start your meal with 😋
Thank you @pitapansg for hosting us today and @geekyelephant for extending the invite 🙆🏻
I had the Peary Good - which a super safe option with Asian Pear, Red & Green Apple which is supposedly good for hydrating skin 🤗
Though I did try a new super exotic one of Garlic, Carrots and Broccoli (!!!) - which was inspired by the dish which every mum would cook! 😹
Pictured are the Butter Poached Cod ($18) and the Braised Pork Belly ($16). We both preferred the cod better with its melt-in-mouth texture while the pork belly seems to have a bad day with its slightly tougher bite. Every bowl are stuffed with heaps of wasabi spouts, seaweed, mushrooms, pickled lotus roots, baked tomatoes and that oh so flowy ramen egg!
($16 - 1 grain, 1 protein, 1 hot veg, 2 cold veg, 1 sauce and 1 topping) yes, not really cheap but I felt it was really worth it!
My choice was brown rice, sous vide pan grilled salmon, furikake corn, bean spouts, cherry tomatoes, furikake and the surprisingly good Beet Root Feta Yoghurt sauce!!! I really loved the grilled baby corn 😍 and I'm so happy with the generous helping of it!
Best paired with one of their coffee and we can't resist ordering their Breakfast Burger ($6) for take away! So good especially with lots of their signature bacon jam 😍
