Inspired by the smells and taste from around the region, the food is bursting with the best elements of Asian influences drawing from Japanese and Korean cuisine to Thai flavours. May May’s interior, designed by Eric Perry Studios, reflects the casual and modern sensibilities of the surrounding area while also paying tribute to Singapore’s iconic identity as a Garden City. The single storey restaurant, illuminated by natural light from the skylight ceiling during the day and chic intimate lighting in the evenings, has 2 long communal tables that can seat up to 12 guests each and tables of 2 to 6 guests which are perfect for more cozy gatherings.

You can switch the rice up to quinoa but really lets talk about these ethereal pieces of cod and how it was topped with silky wakame, oven roasted tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, pickled lotus roots, wasabi sprouts and a wobbly soft centred egg who's yolk lazily oozes out when pricked. Trust me, waiting for my date’s rice bowl to arrive was torture....😭 (7.4/10)

Had this through Uber Eats! Very worth it! It comes with beef, half a soft-centred egg, pickled broccoli, lotus root, and mushrooms on a bed of rice. The beef was really tender and delicious! The other accompanying sides were just alright, the egg looks really good but they didn't put even a pinch of salt on it so it was bland. The pickled broccoli was too sour, so much so it will make u wonder whether it's still good to eat... Haha. But the beef really made up for it. Plus I got a big discount cos it's my first Uber Eats order, so can't complain!:)

This. $7 for three and nope, that's before the GST so I paid a little more than that. The sugar coating is so so generous that my fingers are all dusted with the crystal of sweet after devoring just one of these delish treat. Remember to clean the floor just in case you attract the ants... and not to forget, the salted egg yolk indeed flowed and even spill over in the box. Do handle with extra caution!!! Pretty good for sharing or you can chomp down all of it!!!

$7 for three of these yummy sweet treats! Enjoy it while it's warm! Let the Liu Sha ooze out of the soft sugary donut. Great with a cup of cafe latte! Good amount of salted egg yolk for the size of donut, would definitely come back again but make sure to come early before they're sold out!

Looks fantastic, so it's a real pity it tasted very much underwhelming. The Thai Milk Tea Mousse wasn't airy, creamy, or any bit decadent. Instead, what we got was a powdery-textured jelly, an artificial tasting "blood orange" cremeux, and a hard icey coconut "parfait". Not only were the textures odd, the flavours were nowhere close to what's promised.

Warm sugary goodness with amazing custard that oozes from within. Whoever thought up these babies was a genius. Now please excuse me while I get seconds.
