Here's a tip on how to take this already tasty item to another level. Order a side of poached egg, drop it in the soup and gently bash it up. Then let the sandwich-dunking begin.

Just the second day of reopening and the queues at Hambaobao 2.0 are immediately back! Sandwiched between two well toasted fluffy buns are these thick chunks of crackling fatty pork belly topped with slices of crunchy Japanese cucumbers. The sweet tangy Hoi Sin sauce and English mustard helped to bring it all together with the latter giving that nice extra kick. The hand-cut fries are available for top up at $1.50 and although they are not the crispy sort, were still seasoned well and nice to munch on in between. Also, what's a burger without fries?! Really enjoyed the burger but I'm not sure if I'll join the queue if it's crowded (my friend queued for more than an hour!).

Although it's still uncertain if the stalls are here to stay permanently, I'm sooooooo happy that Beauty World's food centre is back up and running with most of its original stall holders. Really missed all the hustling and bustling so much! #BurppleYoungHawkers

There are super few food places in Singapore that I would take the liberty to travel down to and Hambaobao has now officially become one of them.

Crisp and well cooked buns with an amazing coleslaw and perfectly cooked, soft and spiced pulled pork, the spiced pulled pork is cheap yet delicious. I originally wanted to get the Pork Belly burger, but it was, unfortunately, sold out but when one door closes, another opens, and now I've got a new favorite burger in town 🍔

It's $1.50 more for fries but I didn't get them this time round. I will definitely try it next time, though!

Gooey melted cheese and thick chunky salmon slapped in between two pieces of perfect toasted bread. It was a messy lunch. Warning: do not order this for lunch if you have a afternoon meeting because it will send you to food coma. And share with someone else. #freakwich

Just when I thought I'd found my favorite chicken sandwich in town, Hungry Bazterdz outdoes themselves with this utter slice of sin between two slices of wholemeal sandwich.

The Pablo Chikon is yet another one of HB's new sandwiches, comprising of a thick, juicy chunk of crispy fried chicken, spicy sesame mayo, tomato relish and most appealingly, crispy fried Cajun marinated salmon from Fish Sh-nack between two slices of thick wholemeal bread.

And simply put, it's the best new sandwich. Think of a McSpicy on steroids but even better, and you've got the Pablo. It's one of the messiest sandwiches in the HB lineup due to how outrageously thick the delicious chicken patty is, and how lavishly that sumptuous spicy sesame mayo is spread all over the bread. It can get a little rich due to all the delicious elements within the sandwich, so the smaller eaters may want to bring a pal to tag team this sandwich.

We didn't have a full meal here, just a couple of bites of my dining companion's cheesesteak sandwich. It was perfectly flavoured, not overly cheesy, and leaves you wanting more. Lovely welcoming atmosphere too, definitely relaxing if you come outside the usual office peak hours. Will definitely be back to try the other sandwich flavours or takeaway if I'm in the area again!

Chicken Tikka Naanwich - The Chicken Tikka was grilled to perfection. Paired with a runny egg and sauce it gives the traditional naan a nice twist. Can get messy if you hold everything up ;) But, it tastes better that way.

Loved the juicy chunks of lobster on the buttery 'slow grilled' roll!! I was so pleasantly surprised by how generous they were with the lobster chunks too. And the sauce was creamy but not overwhelming!!

The huge flaky pastry had a wonderful buttery fragrance, scramble was excellent, and to top it off the generous stuffings of cheese, ham, bacon and mayo made it extra luscious. Best part is, you get all of that for S$14: tell me that isn't worth it.

Nitpicking at it a lil, this would've made my fave croissant-wich if the mayo was absent. All the flavours were awesome on their own and needed no extra sauce. Be sure to ask the staff to leave that out!

I was expecting slices of meat topped with melted cheese. Instead, when I cracked open the paper-wrapped roll, an orgiastic party was revealed. Try as I might, there was no differentiating the components of beef brisket, molten cheddar and cooked-on-the-grill-till-soft onions. It was just one big, saucy and terribly delicious mess!

We had the PB&J ($8) and the Cheesesteak sandwich ($16). They use 3 slices of bread for the PB&J, two slices of chocolate bread and one white slice of white bread in the middle. It was also cornflake-crusted which gave the sandwich a nice crunch. I liked it, but the peanut butter they use sure dries out your mouth. Would have liked more jelly too. As for the cheesesteak, just look at that meat-to-bread ratio! Very satisfying. Already thinking of going back to try their other sarnies!

Heard so much about this and it didn't disappoint! Possibly one of the best sandwiches I've eaten. Crispy, crackly pork with sweet purple cabbage and apple - the right balance of every flavour 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
