What's life without an assortment of tarts? 😉

From the lovely folks at @wunderfolks (only on Instagram), this Tart Platter ($54) was up for grabs during a giveaway hosted by @shout.sg! & lucky me managed to snag myself a box hehe 😬

The Tart Platter consists of 9 x 6" tarts, with 3 main flavours - Lemon Meringue, Chocolate & Fruitilicious! Swipe left for individual shots.

Love the lemon curd & how tart it is! & buttery tart, omg, so good. The assortment of fruits on fruitilicious is pretty generous as every mouthful comes with a few bits of fruits.

Definitely worth ordering especially for the festive parties coming up year end! 1 tart per person, no cross-sharing ✌🏼

These passionfruit gems are worth the wait, and the incessantly need to keep refreshing the page till I find the next available date.

Fluffy doughnuts were stuffed to the brim with sweet, yet tart passionfruit curd, without going overboard. The perfect harmony of these doughnuts made me want to keep all pieces for myself, but sometimes, good stuff are worth sharing.

You can purchase them through Burnt Ends' website, under the Bakery tab. While you're at it, try their Crack Buns ($8) & Focaccia ($5). Those were gone before I could snap some photos.

Brought back this gem of a croissant & it still tastes amazing!!!!

Brotherbird is back again with this amazing croissant - Strawberry Daifuku. Daifuku is a traditional mochi dessert from Japan that usually comes with stuffings. So what they did was add daifuku & strawberry compote into a croissant.

This combination is pure genius, and oh, so delicious. The strawberry compote is slightly sweet with a hint of sour, paired with the q-ness of the daifuku & the savoury fluffy croissant.

Do let it before it runs out, otherwise you really might regret it!

Mid-day snack under the weather's immense heat called for some healthy açai bowls!

Managed to grab some açai bowls (cups rather) at Thrive by Boxgreen x Açai Affair at 1 for 1 thanks to #burpplebeyond!

We had the Coco Glow! which consisted of layers of açai & coconut sorbet (yum), fresh fruits, superfoods & a topping of choice (I chose cookie butter).

The combination was really tasty, with fresh fruits such as strawberries, bananas, blueberries, pineapples, Kiwi & dragon fruits which gives you that bursts of flavours! As well as the extra crunch through the superfoods such as granola, Chia seeds & coco flakes!

A large portion really does fill you to the brim, & definitely works as a meal replacement!

Reopening after a month long hiatus is Brotherbird Coffeehouse! Known for their mochi donuts & amazing croissants, the coffeehouse is currently undergoing menu revamps & are only serving croissants & desserts!

One of the popular ones & also a personal favourite of mine are the Lemon Meringue Croissant & Brown Sugar Kouign Amann!

First, the Lemon Meringue Croissant is stuffed with lemon curd, giving you that zing with every bite! Topped with a meringue on the outside to cut through the tanginess while balancing out the lemon curd.

Secondly, the Brown Sugar Kouign Amann is another stunner! Most Kouign Amann's are generally dense & a tad too sweet, but Brotherbird's version was light, slightly sweet & extremely crunchy!

Recently chanced upon this Chinese flatbread store at Plaza Singapura & was really surprised by the taste & flavour from it!

A Gan Guo Kui 阿甘锅, originates from Hubei, China and uses the traditional method of baking through a charcoal heated clay oven, which kinda looks like a tandoori oven, till it’s golden brown & crispy!

We tried the Spicy Beef 香辣牛锅盔 ($3.30) which suggested by the cashier & boy was that a good choice! The flat bread was fresh out of the oven when we ordered it, and came golden brown with slightly charred rims.

It was not only aromatic but tasted equally great as well! The spicy beef option comes with shredded pieces of beef, which is kneaded into the dough before being baked. Would definitely head back to try the other flavours when I can! It’s a perfect snack, or meal even if you’re not hungry!
