Spot the long queue on Level 2 of Berseh Food Centre to find Mei Xiang. Here, there's only Mixed Sliced Fish Soup ($6 for Small, $8 for Big) — no other choices. You'll get sliced fish, slightly salty fried fish chunks (beware of bones), a robust soup loaded with cabbage, a zesty chili that is totally addictive ($0.30 for extra) and a bowl of white rice. Pro-tip: if you want to dabao, please bring your own container!

A stall that sells only fish soup with long waiting time has to be good. And yes it is. The soup has both fried and plain fish slices, fried egg and fish roe too. Though the soup is on the salty side but mixed with rice it’s just right. So if you love fish soup this is a stall to go if you’re in Beseh Food Centre.

Small - $6, Big - $8. Soup is above average and tasty. Chilli is amazing to go with the fish. Highly recommend. 😋

Perfect for people with difficulty choosing. This stall sells one, and only one, dish - Fried and Fresh fish soup with rice. You've only got 2 options, big or small.
The soup is really flavourful, but I get a little thirsty after. The fresh fish is fresh lol, duh. But the fried fish is too salty. Do not forgo the chilli, the lime juice in it adds a twist to the spicy kick.
Located in the corner of the food centre, facing New World Centre. Opens everyday except Saturdays, 11.30pm - 3pm / till sold out.

Lunch 1/2: 'Standard' set of fried & fresh fish soup with rice & chili. Additional chili is 30 cents. Only fried and fresh fish. No other variations allowed. Stall opens weekdays only and punctually at 11.12am.

Guess fish soup ain't necessarily healthy. Comes in a set with rice ($6 small, $8 large) and mixed fried and fresh slices (fried is a tad salted) with no variations allowed. Like none. Zilch. Overall I quite liked it but for none of the reasons why people actually eat fish soup.
