Good quality food items, served with small portions, yet delightful. Works well for a buffet, which allows us to try out many different dishes. Check out this complimentary mentaiko scallop. Super good!

Highlights: Thick-cut Sashimi, Mentaiko Scallop, Wagyu Beef

Salmon sashimi was good! I didn't enjoy the yellowtail sashimi though. Other cooked items are quite ordinary.

If you need veg, go for the okonomiyaki! Cabbage seems healthier than the ingredients in their salad - (iceberg?) lettuce, corn, cherry tomato, cucumber.

The buffet comes with free ice cream :) Some hit and miss items, but overall I recommend this place!

Allergen: Chawanmushi has prawn

My favourite Japanese buffet as they serve quality food. Sashimi is thick and fresh, and decent selection. Love their teapot soup and Ikura chawanmushi as well. Fast and efficient service, and they didn’t miss out any food that we ordered. Would definitely come back!!

Cost: $51.90 per pax

Mitsuba has pleasant dining atmosphere. Staffs are friendly and asked us occasionally to ensure all of our orders are served. Food is good and delicious. Recommended: sashimi, beef steak, and mentaiko scallop.

Super tender wagyu beef that was cooked just nice to how i like it; medium rare. The beef melts the moment you put it inside your mouth. I love how the portion of food was not too big such that you are unable to finish it nor too small. It was the perfect portion for sharing & to try other dishes.

They gave us a complementary mentaiko scallop for each customer that dined in. The scallops were huge & fresh! They were super generous with the mentaiko sauce, which was torched till perfection

There was an ongoing promotion of 1 person dining for free when 3 people dines in during lunch time. Their salmon & sword fish was really fresh! However, their white tuna, tuna and yellow tail wasn’t of the best quality. However, their sashimi slices were all thick and fresh. Definitely worth the price if you enjoy salmon sashimi!!!

If you’re a sashimi lover, this is probably the thing for you. You can indulge in a free flow sashimi with a wide variety of other dishes such as grilled meat, seafood, sushi, tempura, dons and ramen.

I’m neither a buffet person nor a sashimi lover (I only love salmon! Hehe). I would give it a 6 as it’s not as worth it for me. The sashimi is pretty fresh but I’m more obsessed with the tender beef slices and the teapot soup. They also gave complimentary one mentaiko scallop per person, mentai gao until gelat wew. Stuffed with tons of bifu, mentai tamago and tea soup, I guess I’m still satisfied.

You can further add on $20++ for free flow of alcohol such as hot sake (it’s good, stole some sips from my friends heh) and beer!

Price: $50/pax
Rating: 6/10

I didn’t choose the buffet. The buffet chose me. I don’t know how they did it but almost everything looks and tastes good on this Japanese buffet menu. Special love for the hotate mentaiyaki, donbinmushi (soup in teapot), mentai sushi, mentaiko truffle fries, the thick sashimi slices and the grilled menu. Nice ambience overlooking the Clarke Quay and Fort Canning hill. $45.90++ all you can eat

Food was fast in serving, but sashimi was not very fresh. Portion just nice for one person, so you wont waste food and get to eat more varieties!
Teapot soup, pitan tofu is a must!

Got stuck at the entrance for awhile because they cant find our reservation, was quite disappointed. Be sure to book directly with the restaurant instead of booking with third party app!

One of the must go place to have a sashimi buffet and what's more 4 for the price of 3 for lunch.

The first time I patronised Mitsuba was in 2018 when my best friend got married and she and her husband brought me here for a small celebratory dinner. Fast forward to today and my boyfriend and I may consider getting married in the restaurant itself. Have been coming back here for special occasions and treat-ourselves days since, and it’s in terms of both quality and price point, I think Mitsuba is truly one of the best Japanese buffet restaurants out there. The sashimi here is THICCC and fresh, and I could honestly just eat my monies worth of sashimi. But to top it off, they offer over 150 other buffet items, which is a pretty insane amount given the affordable price tag. Any kind of Japanese food craving you have, Mitsuba has it. This sounds like an advertisement but I really really super love this place I hope they do weddings.

The alarcarte buffet was worth it as we had loads of sashimi which took awhile as they had to slice the fish but the wait is worth it as the fish served was good and fresh! Portion size could be improved to be honest as they are tiny so we ended up ordering multiple times.

One of the better Japanese buffets in Singapore if you compare price to quantity. Popular for their thick cut sashimi but their sushi is pretty damn good as well!

Scallop covered with mentai sauce, flame grilled.
Creamy texture overall, slightly salted.
Yummy!

Sliced chilled tomato in house made sauce.
We got a couple of this.
Nutritionally excellent, abundant vitamin C and lycopene.
Yummy.

Had the ala carte Japanese buffet! One of the best Japanese buffets in Singapore. Ordering via a iPad and food comes in beautiful serving plates. Great service. Have to make reservations as they have 2 seatings for dinner approx around 6 and 8pm. They do not take walkins!
