MK has one of the best roasted pork I ever ate. I believe it's the sauce. But the skin is so crispy. I can eat this like everyday when I'm back in bangkok!

When you have $50 to spend but not sure where, and your tummy screams for food, pick a buffet. Although selections were rather limited, it was not very bad. I'd rather skip the seafood which is mostly frozen items (felt cheated by MK Salmon which I thought as slices of salmon, but it's fish-shaped minced "salmon") and go for their beef and pork instead. The base soups are just mediocre as many other places offer a much higher standard.

One of the more affordable steamboats along the Orchard shopping belt at $34.50++ per person for a 90-min buffet. However with their promotion, for every four persons, you actually pay for three, which makes is $25.88++ per person!

With a variety of sliced meats, fresh seafood, beancurd, mushrooms and vegetables, no wonder I stuffed myself silly. All the ingredients tasted fresh and went wonderful with its signature MK Sauce. I personally liked its jade noodles that goes well with both the clear soup and tom yum soup.

Another alternative for steamboat in shopping mall. Tomyum broth is really good btw! You will like this if you're in for a spicy meal (:

Hailed as one of the most popular restaurants in Thailand, MK Restaurant finally hit the shores of Singapore last year. They are most known for Thai-style suki hot pot, their signature MK sauce, and the MK roasted duck. If you aren't sure what to order, just go for the MK Suki Platter, which will give you a taste of all their bestsellers. Also try their jade noodles and crystal fish egg balls, which are filled with fish eggs that pop in your mouth. And because no Thai meal is complete without dessert, you'll get a helping of coconut milk ice cream! As this place gets crowded quickly, you're strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance!

Soup (original) was lil sweet. Ingredients were decent. Chilli is nice. The crispy pork and roasted duck was the best among all!
