This Indian restaurant opens within the area of Ang Mo Kio Central, serving prata and other Indian cuisine.

I went for their briyani with chicken. The chicken leg is flavourful and easy to chew.

Prata Raya has been here in Ang Mo Kio for many years, which located just outside AMK Hub beside the taxi point.

I finally came to grab my meal during the Chinese New Years dates when most of the shops are closed.

Love the soft texture of their prata, and not so oily. I gotten their egg prata and cheese prata.

Interestingly their curry wasn’t spicy at all but more on the sweet side.

Ordered one egg prata $2.10 and chicken murtabak $8 but couldn’t taste much chicken. Fish curry and sugar always pair well with prata. Liked the prata more than the murtabak.

No 1 go to place for prata and thosai. Downsides are the weekend crowd and parking situation

Ordered mutton, but got undercooked chicken instead. The remainder of the order tasted odd too. Avoid this place.

Where is your go-to-spot whenever your prata cravings hit? I am sure the popular prata joint - Casuarina Curry, is one of your top favourites! Good news for all Easties because they are now open at Aljunied!

Similar to the outlet at Upper Thomson, @casuarinacurry_aljunied is best known for their prata, but their menu is extensive! You can expect Briyani to Murtabak to Thosai and many more! Do check out their daily specials too! We had Sambal Quail that day which paired really well with their Briyani Rice and Butter Chicken.

Apart from the usual prata flavors, they have interesting chef’s innovation such as Eggs Benedict Prata. With the eggs poached perfectly, I absolutely enjoyed this dish - crisp prata paired with flowy, creamy eggs and doused in curry sauce. What’s not to love?!

To end off our meal, we had a dessert prata - Banana Chocolate. Sweet and crisp, it was the perfect dish to round up our prata experience!
