Mentai king is one of the newer shops to open along the stretch of old bendemeer shopping mall district.

This was ok. But rather expensive and It wasn't filling for me.

The soft shell crab don ($12.90) came with two decent size soft shell crab, and also mayonnaise and sweet sauce at the side. A pretty good meal, and the server was also really friendly!

Had the salmon mentaiko don ($9.80), which was quite yummy. Mentaiko was creamy and wasn’t too salty, and I would say it was a pretty decent size salmon too. Rice is drizzled with a sweet teriyaki sauce which goes well with the dish.

Recently opened at Boon Keng.

This is my first time eating Mentai-ya, despite this being the 5th outlet to sprout in Singapore.

Not very filling though, it's basically a piece of salmon with mentaiko sauce with a bowl of Japanese rice.

Service is quick during lunch time. Sadly, I also eat finish very quickly.
