The Roasted chicken was tender and not dry whatsoever. Rice was fragrant & flavourful.
Chilli was very good too.
Evertop may be serving the best halal chicken rice I ever had.
Both the Steam & Roasted chicken are good.
Found this Halal chicken rice place at this quiet neighbourhood in Clementi area, popular among the Malay families coming here to grab their meals.
I like the fact that they offer this option, which provides both roasted and steamed chicken in one plate. So you get to try both at the same time. The meat is soft and tasty.
Beside serving their signature chicken rice, they also have some Halal zi char dishes here also. A perfect place for family meal.
Evertop Hainanese chicken rice has been opened here at clementi ave 2 for over a decade already at least.
The chicken rice here has always been consistently good.
Chicken was tender and sauce was flavourful.
The chilli also good here
Juicy and Tender Poached Chicken with Fragrant Rice
Location: 雞頭 Chicken Head, Clementi 448 Market & Food Centre, Blk 448 Clementi Ave 3, #01-18, Singapore 120448
Looks good but sadly they don't have taughey on the menu heh
Their ckn was superbly tender and there's a nice chicken umami in the skin as well. What sets them apart is definitely the sauces tho
The soya sauce was alr unique, there's this sweetness and a surprising amount of complexity to it
The ginger sauce was very bright, extremely different from most
The chili sauce has this distinct taste, barely tastes anything like normal ckn rice chili sauce. I suspect they use a different kind of chili. It's got a significant heat to it too
The best way to enjoy it is to put equal ratios of chili sauce and soy sauce(if you can take some heat), and a tiny splash of the bright ginger sauce (I actl experimented w various ratios)
Awesome chicken rice without the Maxwell Crowd.
Same gold standard as maxwell.
Love the thick sauce drenching the white chicken.
Chicken always tender and fresh here.
5/5 rating for me all day long
My family are talking about Chicken Rice, so here we are. @tiantianchicken

Used to eat this weekly back when I was staying at clementi. The queue is still as long as 4 years back during dinner time.
Chicken is soft and tender and sauce is flavourful.
No wonder still as popular.
$9.40 for the entire chicken leg+ egg + rice.
I got both for my lunch today.

Probably one of Singapore’s most famous chicken rice chains. A pretty satisfying meal, but honestly prefer some other hawker stalls when it comes to personal preference.
(Decided to try this stall after seeing a long queue)
A generous portion of rice was given which was not too oily. My cut of white chicken was slightly dry and tough whilst the roasted chicken was moist and tender. I love their chili sauce which was spicier than normal. Their ginger sauce was decent as well but nothing out of the ordinary. The highlight of the meal got to be their soup though which had a distinct taste of red bean and as I later saw, indeed had several at the bottom of my bowl. My bowl had a slice of carrot as well.
Overall, it was a decent plate of chicken rice but portion of chicken was really little for $6. I highly recommend the other chicken rice stall, Chicken Head Chicken Rice #01-18 instead.
