With a choice of bone-in or boneless chicken, marinated in a blend of 40 spices (including saffron), layered with basmati rice and slow cooked dum style for over 6 hours, this is excellent.
.
The biryani rice is richly aromatic, with a fluffy texture and mild spice sweet savoury flavour. Don't need any curry gravy with this, it's delicious enough on its own.
.
The chicken meat is tender and moist, yielding easily with bright sweet spice savoury smoky flavour. Crisp fried shallots lend a contrasting crunch and a fragrant earthy spice note. Portion size easily feeds 3 people.

My stomach always leaves happy from this place.
Their curries are rich and tasty, and we highly recommend you order their garlic naan to mop up all the gravies.

Meats are also super tender, and papadum wasnt oily at all. Very light and crispy.

The spices created a really nice “sauce”. Mutton was already tender and a little hint of the gaminess peeked through - if you don’t like that, this might not be for you.

I didn't like the mint raita. This doesn't taste anything like a normal raita, it's yoghurt with a strong hit of rice wine?

The biryani rice was good but the stunner was the ckn. It's tender ofc and it wasn't like overly spiced but somehow it's a league above the normal ckn in good briyanis. No idea what's the secret but not complaining. Must try

Their naans are quite different from normal. It's denser and has a better bite. Really good and the crisp lasts awhile. I particularly liked the toasted nuts, which I understand is not easy to get right(undertoasted or burnt).

Not the cheapest but worth a try

Tender pieces of mutton, in a very well spiced curry with medium body and tiny bit of heat. Again, quite different from any mutton curry I've had.

Choice of ckn or mutton

I love Indian food and I've had quite a bit, but their stuff here is somewhat different from anything I've had. This one was the milder of the two but chunky and rather well spiced. No heat at all though, it's kinda like dhal in some sense lol.

The papadum wasn't as insanely crispy as some but it wasn't oily at all. Sauce was stellar, it's the best of its kind I've had. Really strong, clean, and tangy

I don't really drink tea so I can't appreciate as much but the spice was nice. Dining partner loved it
