Only $2.80 for this ultra creamy coconut dessert with soft sweet potato and classic Bobo Chacha ingredients.
Highly recommended!

Hand made traditional Nonya Kueh.
Pandan kueh kosui light, soft evident pandan flavour, overall quite inviting.
Sweet potato ondeh ondeh chewy and decent portion of liquid gula melaka inside.
Craving overcame!

Only $6 for fluffy coconut cream infused steamed rice, homestyle fried egg omelette, tasty crispy chicken chop, signature savoury Nonya archar and creamy curry vegetables.

Honestly, not bad for the hole in the wall kiosk, they had opened for many years, most of their signature bowls and Nasi Kunyit selling fast, and still pretty persistent line of regulars who queue for lunch.

This small and cosy place which specialises in Peranakan food is very popular with the lunch crowd and has been around at Bukit Timah Plaza since I first visited in the late Eighties. It’s always closed or sold out when I visited the kiosk previously.

Grabbed on the opportunity to try-out their dishes when I spotted the kiosk opened. Overall, the food quality and taste is pretty much homely and above average.

I’ve been going to this cafe for some time. Seems like the portions are getting smaller for the same $$ and not as nice. The Kueh Kosui I had today had a weird ginger taste and costs $5 for 4 pieces :(
I don’t remember the Kueh Kosui to cost so much in the past when they would put some in a bag and say $3 or something. I’m sure their rolling business still has some clout to it but I’m probably not going to buy their stuff for awhile till they improve.

A Nyonya dish that's delicious as the rice and chicken curry combine well. Tender chicken drumstick that opens up easily and moist to bite. This stall Bukit Timah Plaza has other delicious items like mee siam and laksa etc and lots of delicious Nyonya kueh too.
