($10 ea) my friend encouraged me to add on side dish as we might be not coming again bc its quite troublesome to do reserve on via WhatsApp. So I order Iberico Pork Katsu. Its quite crispy and crunchy texture as not that hard and chewy texture for pork. My friend he order Wagyu Menchi Katsu ($10) that got juicy, crispy and crunchy texture as not that hard and chewy texture texture.
($18) my friend ordered it as he wanted to try something more adventurous lol. I did tried their curry sauce as I felt tat its quite salty and also thick texture.
($16) I decided to get pork curry instead of chicken or beef instead. But their sauce was not that salty and thick texture but mid spicy. The rice portion just nice for me and my friend. The minced pork was a bit hard for me tbh. Initially we wanted to try out on earlier at last mth but then need to reserve via WhatsApp before heading to restaurant. So we decided to reserve towards end of the month instead and can check their instagram stories for slot before deciding the date and pax.
Final order of the night for a hit of carbs was their ๐๐ซ๐๐ โ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐จโ that looked deceptively straightforward but was executed perfectly - loved the use of fried garlic and cherry tomatoes which infused the pasta with a tinge of smokiness and sweetness.
Our favourite of the night was the ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ก ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ in a beurre blanc sauce ($18). The dumplings were particularly juicy and the butter sauce was divine.
We tried all three ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ฌ ($10) - potato & beef, crab meat & cream, menchi katsu. Our favourite was the latter - a juicy patty of marinated pork drizzled with a slightly sweet sauce. The crab and cream was reminiscent of childhood takoyaki balls (in the best way possible) whilst we might not recommend the beef one as there was too much potato and not enough beef.
