Extremely pleased with pizzaface’s truffle pizza.
Hands down the best truffle pizza I have had .
Perfect crust , good use of truffle paste and truffle oil for a good truffle flavour .
Extremely fresh and high quality mushrooms .
Looks easy but none have done it as right as them .
Parma Ham + Rocket Pizza ($25+):
The parma ham, arugula salas and shaved provolone cheese complements one another.
Salami + Confit Garlic Pizza ($24+):
Salami, confit garlic and roasted capsicum goes well together. The garlic and capsicum balanced the saltiness of the salami. Pizza crust is not too thick. Overall, it is quite a good pizza. The pizza is just nice for 2 person
Of all the pizza joints in the world, Pizzaface is definitely one of my favorites. Pizza? Perfect. Pasta? Palatable. Service? Superb. Hotel? Trivago.
Unlike their pasta menu, which has remained mostly unchanged for the last few years, their pizza menu has been steadily expanding, just like my beer belly. This bacon & sausage pizza is one of the newer additions, and the piquant pie is yours for a really reasonable $22++.
Of course, there’s a bit more on the pizza that’s been slathered with tomato sauce than just good ol’ bacon and savory sausage. There’s a poached egg in the middle that’s just begging to be penetrated to release its juices, and a smattering of mushrooms.
Crust maketh pizza, and Pizzaface’s fresh homemade dough is completely capable of rolling in the dough. Pizzaface’s base is the closest rendition to the pizzas in Italy that I’ve found in Singapore thus far. The thin yet satisfying crust bears the weight of the tantalizing tomato sauce and the delicious toppings gladly, and it all results in a picture (and palate) perfect pizza pie. It’s ideally paired with and washed down by one of the ravishing red wines that Pizzaface has on its small but well curated wine list.
I’ve yet to find a pizza that I didn’t enjoy chowing down on, but Pizzaface’s bacon & sausage pizza...does put a smile on my face.
I’ve come to rely on Pizzaface for their reliably redolent Italian indulgences since their opening about four years ago, and their menu hasn’t changed much over the years. Except for this new addition to their simple, straightforward menu, the Granchio ($24++).
It’s pretty far from the traditional granchio pasta, which has crabmeat instead of mussels in it (cue the screaming Italian grandmothers in the background). Other than the mussels, there’s astonishingly al dente pasta and stunningly sweet cherry tomatoes tossed in olive oil and mirin. It’s a simple recipe, but quite unbreakable.
The only problem I had with this plate of pasta was that there was too much mirin added in and not burned off properly, resulting in an unpleasant pungency and an overly sweet aftertaste. Due to the excess mirin, there was a reservoir of mirin and olive oil at the bottom of the plate as well.
Nevertheless, it’s still a palatable plate of pasta. The mussels are considerably clean and fresh, with a nice sweetness tinging the naturally briny taste. The linguine was absolutely al dente, and those cherry tomatoes are excellent explosive little packages of sweetness every time you chomp down into one of them.
Even though Pizzaface’s Concourse outlet was getting absolutely slammed on the Saturday night I went, fantastic food came out of the kitchen swiftly, and the waitstaff were always absolutely amiable. With food and service this excellent, I’m truly glad that this local born F&B joint hasn’t just managed to survive and break even, but they’ve managed to live long and prosper.
Hmmmm not a light base at all! I find it too creamy & heavy. I had a very gerlark feel after the meal 😕 The linguine was slightly hard for me & the heavy cream had overpowered the taste of the ham 🙁

As their name implies, Pizzaface is one of the premier pizza places around town (even though they serve up pretty decent pastas as well). Forget all the newfangled pizza creations, Pizzaface goes right for the classics such as this one, created by special request. Good ol' fresh mozzarella laid out upon a perfectly baked, freshly made dough base that's slathered with savory tomato sauce and topped off with mushrooms, Parma ham and rocket leaves. Pizza perfect indeed.
PizzaFace is their name, and bloody good pizzas are their game. PizzaFace has consistently delivered excellent pizzas, and this Parma ham and rocket leaf pizza is no exception. Expertly baked, the handmade thin crust dough is coated sufficiently with their savory tomato base and the whole affair is topped off unsparingly with savory, smoky Parma ham, mozzarella and rocket leaves for that extra bite to keep the pizza from getting too rich on the palate. Downright delicious and worth every cent of the $26 price of admission into pizza perfection.
PizzaFace's rich, silky al dente aglio olio pasta is christened with a generous portion of fresh prawns with a delightful springiness and bite to it and is paired up with a generous helping of glorious bacon. To top it off, the luxurious plate of pasta is booby trapped with two absolutely evil and scorching hot chili padi to switch up the flavors. While it may not be jaw droppingly stunning or the most decadent pasta in town, it's undeniably delectable and it's perfect for an inexpensive Saturday night Italian indulgence, being priced at a very reasonable $22.
Fancy one of these? It was a one-time special for a special birthday party. Pizzaface customises a special pizza or calzone for events only. Not on the menu. I could eat this everyday if not for the health of my heart ;-)
Don't mind me, I'm just bumping my newfound favorite spot for drinks and amazing Italian. The beef ragu calzone ($22) is a hefty portion, so do come hungry. The tomato sauce is rich and hearty, while the delicious and perfectly seasoned insides contain more cheese than Dash Berlin's more recent tracks and as much beef as Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. had back in the day. The calzone is surprisingly light despite all the cheese deluge though, thanks to an artfully executed crust. Unfortunately, the dough at the center of the calzone is a little undercooked though, as it is just a touch pasty. Still, it's one amazing pie despite this shortcoming. Oh and do check out the extensive wine selection available here too!
The meat lovers pizza at PizzaFace won't just satisfy meat lovers, it'll satisfy even the most greedy of carnivores. Abundant strips of salty ham lovingly stacked alongside bacon, salami and savory beef ragu atop a perfectly baked thin crust pizza and topped with sexy, stretchy mozzarella, it's the perfect pizza fantasy come true for any meat aficionado out there.
Going at just $15 due to the promotion that will run until the end of September, this amazeballs truffle mushroom pizza is a must eat. The truffle flavor is INTENSE, and the cheese is stringy and oh-so-savory, the pizza is baked to perfection, and the supporting cast of assorted mushrooms enhance the flavors of this pizza and bring it into legendary status. I honestly haven't had a pizza this good since my Italy trip. Also, a special shoutout goes out to the extremely attentive and awesome staff of PizzaFace, who were extremely accommodating and even extended the Happy Hour alcohol prices just for us!
The steal of the week at just $20, it was LOADED with more seafood than Finding Nemo. Perfectly cooked calamari, prawns and clams swimming in a rich, hearty tomato sauce with al dente pasta, it's a pleasure to savor. And let's not forget the excellently cooked mussel and king prawn sitting pretty that rounded off this amazing dish. Mamma mia!
Yummy cheesy with shavings as well as truffle paste. Totally worth it now since $15 but promo only till 30 Sept 2015
All these simple ingredients make the thinly crust pizza extra yummylicious. I really love my pizza to have extremely thin & crispy crust & this totally enveloped my tastebuds with joy 😋
