Chanced upon @poppypopsg at lvl 6 Jem, it’s located slightly in the corner so you might probably want to look for the right entrance up towards the escalator.

Surprisingly the cafe is way too quiet on a weekend afternoon, but loving the cosiness and comfort of the area (with cute doodling on the walls)

1️⃣ Plain waffle + single scoops
💰$5.00 + $3.70

Taste wise it tastes average, price range is affordable too, but definitely will head there again for quality time spent with friends to enjoy these sweet treats again ☺️

#BurppleBeyond 1-1

Chicken Pot Pie $15
Mentaiko Pasta $16
Iced Cafe Latte $6
Ice Yuzu Barley $7

Visits Jem at least once per week but only found out about this chill cafe at level 6, completely away from all the shops at the roof top garden. Thanks to Beyond only paid $23 at the end. Chicken Pot Pie was a pleasant surprise the pot pie was buttery and crispy, and went really well with the chicken and spinach. Mentaiko pasta taste as what it is, really like that the mentaiko taste was not overpowering and I got to enjoy up till the last month. We really enjoyed the chill ambience, will definitely visit again!

Stationed at the rooftop of JEM, it was a quiet cafe amidst the busy neighborhood. None of us knew about the place until we find it on Burpple! 10/10 for the atmosphere, very serene and we can see the sunset from the Cafe.

We ordered one brown butter waffle and chocolate waffle with our Burpple beyond ($8.80). Sadly, the ice creams are not included in the deal, the ice creams were very pricey for their taste and quality ($4.40/scoop) and we ordered 4 scoops! I would say the waffle is a yes and the ice cream is a no. I didn’t like the taste of the ice cream (coconut macchiato, raspberry cheesecake, matcha soy and Oreo fruity) and the selection is a little limited.

In addition to the waffle, we also ordered deep fried dough with chocolate ice cream ($7.80) which is pretty good compared to the waffles. I would recommend this.

Price: $8/pax
Rating: 6/10

We had the 1 for 1 brown butter waffles. The deal does not include the scoop of ice cream so we paid an extra $4.40 for the premium flavours. We had the matcha soy and milk tea and chocolate chip ice cream. The waffle was chewy with two servings of brown butter which paired nicely. The matcha soy was quite intense and heavy. Overall, a heavy and filling serving of waffles and ice cream.

Blueberry sauce, yoghurt, maple syrup and almonds minus the edible lavender flowers stated on the menu.

Lavender was evident in the waffles, however there’s also the presence of cinnamon which is overpowering. I would enjoy it better without cinnamon 🧇

Vanilla gelato was alright, having visible vanilla beans specks which was part of the reason I chose it and to pair it with Lavender Waffles. The gelato portion can be bigger though.

Overall its a cosy place situated on the rooftop level. Service can be better and I would go for the Pandan Waffle and Mains if I revisit.

Had the 1 for 1 waffles (pandan and brown butter waffles). Topped up with coconut macchiato and pink lemonade ice cream. Total turned out to $15.50. Quiet environment with nice view. Food: 7/10.
