Food is pretty good 👍!! Fried chicken boleh lawan Kyochon.. I'm not really a salad person, but I literally ate more than half of the huge bowl!

The ramyun's run-of-the-mill, but that pork belly featured with it goes down with the silky smoothness of pure gold (I don't know what I'm saying, gold isn't even smooth, but you get the drift). The soup's been elevated with fresh kimchi, but that's about it. On the other hand, Tiger Beer sets go for RM58 (for five mugs) at happy hour (between 5-9pm)! Also recommended by my drinking buddies are the Pork Mantou and Galbi Quesadillas.

Located within new residential mall Pearl Shopping Gallery, this new restaurant is a great place to ease skeptical diners into modern Korean cuisine. Powerplant's forte is in Korean tapas, known as anju or booze snacks, best for munching between meals or to snack on with a drink after dinner. The Mandu Roulette (RM19) is a really fun choice — five identical fried meat dumplings and amongst them, a special one significantly spicer than the rest. The good thing is, even if you miss out on the prized morsel, the regular dumplings served with a trio of sauces are delicious. Further down the menu, spot a Galbi Quesadilla (RM26) that is perfect to wrap things up. The dish of gochujang pork, onions, bacon and melted cheese between warm tortilla is good to share between two. If you drop by during lunch hours, the Korean Rice + Pork Galbi set (RM17) is a simple meal, sufficient to satisfy.
Avg price per person: RM25

Tried the new Korean fusion restaurant in Pearl Shopping Gallery (also new). The Mandu Roulette (RM19) was a lot of fun to eat, and even the super spicy dumpling was delicious. The set lunches, however, were a hit and miss. The Grilled Pork Belly (RM17) lacked flavour and was unpleasantly oily whereas the Pork Galbi surprised with bold dwenjang (soybean paste) marination, which went very well with the rice. Their food deserves a return visit. Can't say the same about their choice of music.
