This quintessentially English cafe in Katong is perfect for brunch with your pet and partner — they even have Sunday roasts ($29/pax) served at noon on the dot! Also good is the Koo Koo Ca Choo ($19) with sauteed mushrooms, hash brown, poached eggs and shaved gruyère. There's also a killer Avocado Smash ($17), with feta cheese and poached eggs atop your avo toast. For sides, order the Scotch Egg ($10) doused in HP sauce. Note that furkids are only allowed in the al fresco area. Water bowls are available upon request!

A hidden Jem tucked away in Katong, famous for the Scotch Egg. Solely visited to have a bite of it and also ordered a smoothie to go with it. Best described, Scotch Egg (10 SGD) is sausage meat fried to a perfect crisp on the outside but still juicy on the inside, wrapped around an egg with a molten centre. And to say it is the best version I have had. And the smoothie “Happy Place (7 SGD)” was a super fresh blend of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, banana and coconut water. I would love to try the other dishes next time as they seemed quite inviting

We got the scotch egg w HP sauce ($10), bubble & squeak ($18) and heuvos rancharos (I forgot).

The bubble & squeak consists of roasted and sautéed veggies, HP sauce, bacon, sausages, hash, fried egg and guyere which was a better combination than the heuvos rancharos, which tasted rather bland in comparison. But the scotch egg was ~ good ~ and highly recommend everyone who comes here to try it

It quite a popular and crowded brunch spot so just make sure you get there slightly earlier.

Must try! Only available on Sunday and it's so good! Soft tender roast beef with roast vegetables. Perfect for a lazy Sunay.

House sausage mixture that was minced and sandwiched between toasted bread and poached eggs, topped with hollandaise sauce. Served together with a simple salad. The sausage was a little overcooked but still has the nice savoury flavour with seasonings and herbs.

Baked eggs that are semi cooked and still runny, together with tomatina sauce, guacamole, tomato, feta cheese, crispy pork that are seasoned like bacon and jalapeno, served on a toasted tortilla. A very mexican inspired breakfast with hearty ingredients.
