Just one look at their menu will tell you you’ve found an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Their menu is extensive - bring a group of friends so you can sample more of their menu or be prepared to revisit.

Four of us took advantage of the 1-for-1 Burpple beyond. Since it was only myself and my three young kids at lunch, I couldn’t get too experimental with the food choice as I would’ve liked to.

WOW! Serving was more than generous! Loaded with beef, Tripe, beef balls. Would’ve been perfect if they balanced out the serving of protein to rice noodles a little better. I appreciated the good serving of fresh herbs on the side and the half brown and chilli sauce as well. Another hint to say these guys are the real deal. Soup tasted clean (not salty or MSG ridden) although I would prefer the soup to taste a little more robust.

We also ordered the Bun Thit Nuong - cooked, dry rice vermicelli dish dressed with herbs, vege and shredded pickled carrot/radish and topped with sliced chargrilled pork. Fish sauce dressing on the side to mix in with your dish- so good.

Lastly, we ordered the Thit Lon Nuong which was basically a main dish of the same chargrilled pork in the Bun Thit Nuong. Great with rice since my son doesn’t like noodles. Well balanced dish complete with cooked Asian greens, pickled shredded carrot/radish and two slices of traditional steamed egg meatloaf. Don’t forget the fish sauce for dipping!

Service was great, ambience brought me back to Vietnam. Great deal with Burpple Beyond. Highly recommended!

Lemongrass Flan lacked lemongrass aroma, and they have taken the feedback very seriously so should be diff next time.

Fish Sauce Ice Cream was interesting to say the least. Yes it's remniscent of Salted caramel, as they claimed, as the Fish Sauce wasnt too strong, but the bitterness at the back of the throat is still there. I was okay with it but my dining parter found it weird

Evidently they dk what's shredded but thats just as well. Well Marinated smoky chicken was rlly succulent. The Salad tastes sort of like the bun Cha dipping sauce but much lighter.

Really really flavourful. Not too salty and the seafood was of superb quality. Hard to imagine it's priced at 18 but im definitely not complaining. On the softer Side, but not too soft either, and grains were well separated.

Pretty tender, esp being a rather lean compared to other more sinful ribs ive had. Though it says braised it's finished off with a slight crisp.

Very generous portion, and while the marinade wasnt super strong, it has pickled kangkong beside which really helped cut thru the richness.

Very nice ambience and setting. Food tastes very authentic. Slightly elevated like the use of berkshire pork but stays true to Vietnamese flavours. Would recommend getting the spring rolls platter of six to try different types of rolls.
