Disappointing visit because I really wanted to like this place! The portion is small and the food lacked flavour. There was no sauce in the bowl, only soy sauce and wasabi for the salmon. Worse still, I had stomachache and diarrhoea afterwards. Sincerely do not recommend unless you have no choice :/

Portions are on the smaller side. This bowl is healthy alright - it's practically sauceless. Rice is dry. Broccoli is an add-on (+$1), without it, the bowl would be much emptier. Salmon is not bad but nothing to shout about. There are much more colourful and delicious poke/salmon options in the area. I ate here after work before rushing off to night class. I must say, only a subpar, depressing, expensive CBD meal like this one could have truly reflected that dreariness.

Ordered this recently for a lunch to go and I was blown away by how fresh it was! I opted for the π’πžπšπ«πžπ 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐒𝐀𝐨 π’πšπ₯𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐰π₯, completed with their signature Yuzu Ume Brown Rice as the base. I also chose to add on π’πšπ₯𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐀𝐞 and a π‡πšπ₯𝐟 π€π―π¨πœπšππ¨ for a filling meal.

Overall, I really enjoyed how fresh the salmon was and how generous the portions were! The salmon poke was also really nicely done and I enjoyed it tremendously.

Verdict: 8/10. I could barely finish my add-ons and was stuffed by the end of the meal. However, it is a tad bit pricey at $18.40! I do believe that if you just opt for the bowl on its own, its much more affordable and makes for a quick and good lunch especially if you’re in the CBD.

A Japanese-Hawaiian fusion donburi located at a shopping mall teeming with office working lunch goers. After seeing my colleague eating this for multiple meals, I had to try once to find out what the fuss was about. The bowl was filled with raw ingredients that are typically good for the soul - sashimi, avocado, roe - minus the rice, it would have made for a real paleo meal. The avocado + rice + raw fish was a surprisingly okay combination - I had a nice time with this dish while catching up with an old friend.

$11.9. I really like how it’s customizable, but I somehow always go for this combi anyway. Decided to get the half avocado this time (treat yoself) and it was pretty good!! Felt decent for a $2 top up.

This is my go-to whenever I'm around Tanjong Pagar. I mean where can u find $9.90 MENTAIKO salmon bowls??

Had the poke bowl with greens and I love it! Portion of salmon poke was not stingy and very flavourful!

The aburi garlic salmon my boyfriend had was the monthly specials and ohboy I had to stop myself from stealing his food cos he loves it alot too πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ it was creamy but not gelat, fragrant from the garlic and also with a little burnt taste from the torched parts 😍
