Salmon with mentaiko sauce and udon
Dropped by Salmon Samurai for lunch and tried the Salmon Mentaiko with soba, topped with fish roe (~$11). There was aย generous amount of metaiko sauce and I even took away the leftover sauce for my salad the next day. I enjoyed the warm torched metaiko paired with the cold soba and a slightly fishy taste from the bursting of fish roes. Will definitely be back here for lunch during the weekdays as its conveniently located at the basement of Ocean Financial Centre (the other outlet at 100AM).

Tried salmon samurai for the first time i have to say - WOW! have nvr heard of mala mentaiko (and I m a huge mala fan) and this was rly nice actually the mala taste wasn't v strong but it matched well w the mentaiko. The chilled citrus ramen - so unique!!!! Have nvr tried such a pairing before and I have to say... I've been won over!!!! Ok but tbh it tasted like soba with the dipping sauce and dont rly rmb any citrus-y taste but that's fine I guess for $9.90.

Verdict: wld come back~
Made this a particularly satisfying meal by adding an onsen egg ($1) and salmon roe ($2.50). Loved the huge dollop of roe, really worth the top up! The salmon was nicely seared with that yummy, salty mentaiko hit and the soy citrus noodle had a nice chew and a hint of wasabi heat; made for a great office day lunch.
Loved the slight wasabi kick that comes with every bite of yuzu noodles. Sashimi was fresh๐ฆ although they were not very generous with 3 thin slices of avocado lol sad. Not rly worth the $9.90 mithinks
Comes with a generous portion of mentaiko salmon, and quality is always consistently high. Service is great too!
