Went to Sarnies for dinner on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised that it wasnt very crowded at 7pm. We could easily get a table for five inside the restaurant.

I ordered the spiced roadkill chicken,$18 (original price)/$9 (with burpple 50% off). The serving of the chicken was huge because it was the whole chicken. The meat was tender and soft other than the breast meat which got alittle too dry/much for me closer to the end of the meal. I couldnt finish the dish myself.

My friends on the other hand got the grass-fed ribeye, $18 (original price)/ $9 (with burpple 50% off). Unfortunately, the beef looked deceivingly tender because it ended up being very rubbery and tough. They spent half the time chewing. They did comment that the truffle side sauce was good though but generally would not recommend getting the dish.

Other than that, Sarnies has happy hour for $8/$9 for wine/house pour so if you are looking for some drinks with dinner. I guess its decently priced.

Maybe their pastas or sandwiches are good, till next time!

$14. Was a bit sad that it didn’t come w sides (you have to top up, and the 50% off doesn’t apply to the top up), but it was a decent burger. Look at that cheese.

• not the best environment; outdoor seating is WARM with no fans outside and esp if you get a table right next to the road 😖 indoor seating is not the best either — no ambience, just noisy and ugh the vibes are off for me la
• mushroom risotto is not bad. salmon carbonara can be q jelak after a while so suggest u share mains w friends. felt a bit scammed by pierogies like p sure the curry puff-esque skin is pre-made and they just stuffed inside with pumpkin (which is q nice and sweet tbf).
• total came up to $34.15 incl gst and service, ok la i mean if we didn’t order sides it would’ve been way cheaper w the 50% off mains
• mayhaps brunch is better? won’t be back for dinner again

Pulled Pork Ragu was okay. The pasta was a little bit soggy and the tomato base was alright. Overall this was an okay pasta dish, nothing to shout about but decent.

Truffle fries was good! Fries were crispy and had the wholesome potato taste, and the truffle taste was strong.

Meat was tough and slightly too charred. Lacked taste (not even the beef taste was strong) and was peppered with too much sea salt.

You can choose either Medium or Well Done for doneness. I chose Medium but it was more like Medium Rare with sides that seemed like Medium Well.

Wouldn’t recommend this unfortunately. $18 for a good ribeye is too good to be true! (This was avail on burpple 50% off, so $9++ really. But I still wouldn’t order it at $9++ again tbh....)

We decided to give Sarnies a second chance with their Brunch menu, seeing as their Dinner offerings are horrible.
The Eggs Benjamin is seriously good! Definitely will recommend! However, their Fry Up is plain bad. Checked with other friends who had tried Fry Up before as well who gave the same sentiments.
Will come back only for the Eggs Benjamin. Wouldn’t want to try other items given their hit-and-miss dishes.
