Kagoshima A4 wagyu beef, foie gras, uni, truffle and onsen egg- all in a bowl. Such a dream come true for me. Substantial premium ingredients given in this donburi makes this a very belly statisfying lunch.
When I saw that I can have uni and ikura in a bowl, I knew this is the bowl for me! They offer very large portions of ikura and negitoro. I wish the uni can be more! Ingredients given are very fresh, sweet and interesting- the yellow stuff at the top is not the usual preserved ginger slices. It has a crunchy texture with fruity and sour malic acid flavours -I think it was green apple.
All my favourite in a bowl. Live changing.
Update: Had my second visit and it doesnโt taste as good as the first time I tried, consistency issue.

๐ญ: ๐ OFFICIALLY MY FAVOURITE WAGYU DON!!! OMG I CANNOT NOT BURRPLE THIS!!!
Packed with all my favourite ingredients! The beef was definitely premium and was so well marinated and cooked to perfection - tender and flavourful. The fried slices of garlic were crispy and fragrant. Every mouthful was bursting with different textures and flavours. The foie gras was cut into cubes and pan fried to a beautiful consistency - a little charred on the outside but melts in the mouth. The uni, best i had in SG, so creamy & fresh, and generous with the serving too! I TOTALLY LOVED this!!! Made my afternoon so HAPPY!!! #happybelly
Reminiscing the awesome taste on my taste buds makes me hungry again!!
Finally got ourselves in here...

๐ญ ๐ fish was definitely good, fresh and neatly plated as shown. Not too sure what are the various white fish i've eaten.
Somehow everything else that were prepared behind the bar looked a lot more enticing. Unfortunately, it was off the menu. ๐คThen how do i get to put them into my mouth?

The Nigiri Sushi here is smaller than what one might expect. Instead of serving the sushi one by one, Murasaki serves it as a platter. The sushi rice was standard, sashimi fresh, overall nothing much to rave about. ๐
Interestingly, instead of Ginger (Gari ใฌใช) To cleanse the palate, Murasaki uses pickled green Apple which I thought was quite refreshing & of course freshly grated Wasabi. ๐

ACAMASTIPS๐ฎ: If you are looking for a affordable sushi Omakase, I'd rather you go to Ryo Sushi. The sushi is better, the interaction with the Chef & definitely the price as well. ๐๐ป
A glorious uni sushi with the golden uni sitting proudly atop sushi rice and then wrapped with seaweed. Uni from the Hokkaido region was used and I was delighted to taste such fresh uni that had some sweet notes and without a lingering aftertaste.
We started off with a hairy crab appetizer with fresh de-shelled crab meat topped with crab roe and black vinegar jelly. A mouthful of sweet crab meat paired with some tangy jelly was such a great way to whet our appetite for the omakase meal ahead!
The Boston lobster is slow cooked at 80 degrees for 25 minutes to preserve the sweetness of the meat with a firm yet tender texture. It was drenched with a mushroom sauce and topped with some luxurious fresh truffle shavings.
The mini premium don is a garlic fried rice topped with all the good things you can possibly have in a bowl โ wagyu beef, ikura, uni, foie gras, onsen egg and truffle shavings. Even with the platoon of ingredients, the aroma from the garlic fried rice still shone through it all. Gave the don a good mix and I had a little of everything in one mouthful. The creamy texture from the uni and onsen egg definitely brought the flavors together. A full sized portion of this don is also available during lunch service, priced at a pretty hefty $85 but definitely paying for quality ingredients.
6-pc Nigiri Sushi, part of Sushi Murasaki's Kumo Omakase set. Made with super fresh imported seafood that the chefs prepare infront of you, sushi and other dishes frequently change to showcase the freshest ingredients in season.
Luxury in a bowlโyesโฆ underneath all that black truffle, foie gras, uni, ikura and onsen egg are delicious slices of Wagyu beef!
I admit I'm a truffle and beef snob (only the best will do) and both passed my fussiness in this bowl. ๐
This is available in Murasaki's Kumo Omakase set or you can order it as an a la carte item.

I'm a big fan of chawanmushi and this is probably one of the best chawanmushi dishes that I've ever had. Made with dashi, the chawanmushi itself is silky smooth. And this passes my fussiness for truffles! Not overpowering, the truffle slices rest gently atop the ingredients like prawn and mushroom. Extremely decadent and totally worth it!
ultimate wagyu don ($85) โข a bowl full of foie gras, uni, wagyu, truffle and just look at that wobbbbly egg. everything i love when having a meal, H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y ๐

Appetizer, nigiri sushi (10 pieces), miso soup & dessert.
Available at @MurasakiSG in @MilleniaWalk
The meal started with marinated spinach and chawamushi. Interesting that the meat in the steamed egg was sliced thinly.
Next course was the sushi which was freshly made in front of me since I was at the counter seat. Like the truffle oil flavoured sushi. The yuzu flavoured one had a bit too much of wasabi in it. Interesting that it was served with crunchy yuzu flavoured apple slices instead of the usual sushi ginger.
The next course was miso soup which was served pipping hot.
Dessert of the day turned out be chocolate ice cream. I asked for Mizu Shingen Mochi but not available ๐ญ and was given black sesame ice cream. |

Very very satisfying dinner, all the items are super good! Especially the toro sashimi, uni sushi ๐ end off with a nice soup and warabi mochi dessert.
Hungry and missing a lovely bowl of wagyu beef Don ๐๐๐คฉ medium rare yummy beef nicely charred on the side sitting around onsen egg, with generous amount of black truffle sprinkle and truffle slice, and tasty gravy - I don't usually eat fast but I gobbled down this bowl in less than 20 mins. Not a cheap place (normal wagyu don is about 50-60 and premium one is 80 plus) but worth the price for occasional indulgence ๐๐ ahh I miss the taste. #food #goodfood #eat #eatwell #foodporn #burpple #foodpic #instafood #instaeat #instayum #instadaily #yummy #nomnom #foodstagram #foodiegram #foodgram #foodphotography #japanesefood #japanese #protein #carbs #latergram #healthyfood #foodsg
