You first pick your broth ($43.90), and I sadly wasn't feeling very well that day to go for spicy, so we went for their Garlic instead of the green pepper I've always wanted to try 🥺. You then get to choose the type of fish you want, and ours, Limbo Fish (+$4) was huge and meaty! You can also add-on ingredients like Enoki (+$3.90), Luncheon Meat (+$4.90), Oyster Mushroom (+$3.90).

The broth was honestly really really salty, although if you pair it with rice it's much more palatable. I do like that the broth was flavourful though, and the fish was pretty fresh and portionwise it's really huge. It's prob one of the better grilled fish I've tried out there despite not getting the spicy, altho it's also the priciest I've seen - with it totalling $92.87 for 2 pax, including drinks and 1 rice portion.

I'd still want to head back for their Green Pepper someday, and although it's pretty expensive, I could see myself craving something really hearty and comforting to warrant coming back for a really thick broth and grilled fish.

Had always heard good reviews about their grilled fish, which made me really interested to try for a pretty long time, and just decided to have it for dinner spontaneously when we walked past it.

Yuan Yang Rice Cake ($7.80)
There were 6 pieces if I recall correctly, and I was initially worried it was going to be plain since there's no "flavour" to the 2 different colours of dough - but I really found myself liking it!
The rice cakes came piping hot, and I especially loved the very crispy exterior, yet a chewy mochi-like interior. You also get a bowl of sugar syrup to dip into, which provided sweetness and made it just so addictive to have.

Hot Plate Tofu ($10.80)
hmmm my mum n sis don't like this tbh and felt like stinky tofu vibes.  rate spicy level ard 4 to 4.5 for me.

Tan Yu 探鱼

Barley ($2.80)

my sis ordered this so it wa worth it bc it was quite L Size for drink tbh

Tangerine Hawthorn ($5.80)

my mum and I shared drink tgt but it's quite sweet drink if not stirring. but going to the end of the drink turned slightly sour after stirring.

Golden Combination ($13.80)

consist different ingredients such as fungi mushroom, thick seaweed, Golden Mushroom + Potato + Lotus Root + Seaweed. it's quite worth it for first time to try it out. but it's hide under fish so u need to slowly dig it out from the fish.

Green Pepper ($43.90)

so I don't feel spicy and salty initially but slowly going to the end of the meal, I almost could not eat finish bc building up the spiciness and saltness inside me. :") rate spicy level ard 3 to 3.5 the soup broth really taste salty tbh
