Texas Chicken is almost always interesting. Here they fused Thai and oat. It's not the strongest, but you do detect tom yum and oat.

In celebration of Singaporeโ€™s 55th Birthday ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ, Salted Egg Fried Chicken has finally made a comeback at @texaschickensg! ๐ŸŽ‰ From now till 26 Aug, enjoy an authentic egg-xperience of a recipe that uses only 100% fresh chicken ๐Ÿ” & real duck eggs! ๐Ÿณ
Really impressed by how juicy & succulent the chicken pieces were! ๐Ÿ’ฏ All hail these 100% fresh chicken delivered to the restaurants daily! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The outer layer is generously coated with real salted egg sauce & sprinkled with salted egg crumbs to give the ultimate crunch with every bite. ๐Ÿคค Truly an indulgent treat! ๐Ÿ’•
A combo meal starts from just $10.80. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป I'm enjoying their online exclusive 5-piece Salted Egg Meal ($28.20), which includes 5 pieces of REAL Salted Egg Fried Chicken ๐Ÿ—, a serve of REAL Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken, a Large Fries ๐ŸŸ, two pieces of Honey Butter Biscuit & two Regular Coca Colaยฎ ๐Ÿฅค.

The salted egg fried chicken was pretty good - the batter has a salted egg flavour which isnโ€™t too strong and overwhelming, also accompanied by a little bit of spice. Itโ€™s only available for a limited time so better try it while you still can! Each piece is priced at $4.30 ala carte.

Choice of burger or tender wrap, mash potato and a drink (free-flow drinks for students). I like that their chicken is really crispy and the skin is quite lean. So I don't have to remove the fats which I usually do for another brand of fried chicken.

Tom yum chicken pieces were pleasantly fragrant with the right amount of spices, but could do with more oats coating the batter.

Milk tea was great; itโ€™s par with other authentic thai milk tea stalls!

Popcorn chicken was surprisingly soft and tender. Batter and marination was average.

loved this!!!! ๐Ÿ— the usual crispy chicken skin was made so much more flavourful with its salted egg seasoning that encased the meat with a savoury yet sweet fragrance. though the curry aspect of the salted egg flavour did not shine through as much as expected, i still liked how it carried a milky profile. not excessively salty as well like some other salted egg flavoured foods iโ€™ve tried! meanwhile, the chicken meat itself remained juicy and tender yum
