There are many great places serving Thai food but TNH is one of my all time favourites. Been visiting them 10+ years ago since I was a secondary school kid, back in the days where we could get a beef noodle soup for $4.50 as student price. Now the prices have shot up to $10 but all things considered, the food is still amazingly great and the portions are huge!
I always order the beef noodles or Tom yam noodles and the quality is consistently 💯 The homely vibes are ever as present 10 years ago till now
Really worth the money.
The never ending bowl of meat.
Filled with pork, chicken, fish ball, abalone mushrooms
I couldn't finish all the meat and I was filled.
Crunchy, crispy and fragant dish with fried garlic. Each prawn was juicy but 15$ for 6 prawns? Rather overpriced
Look at the bouncy prawns!! Just from the quantity and quality of prawns you wouldnt believe this is actually one of the less value for money dishes(mainly cos the other dishes are so superb as well), but still this delivers in terms of taste. With a sweet crustacean flavour, the tanghoon was good enough to eat on its own but it goes well with anything else on the menu as well, esp soaked in soup e.g. green curry. Can easily feed 3 if you order other dishes to go with it.
Super fragrant, thick and creamy, it's hard to understand why anyone would dislike this(dat one person on the table who doesnt like this :'( ) flavourful enough to go with rice, yet light enough to drink alone, this is one of the best green curries imo and it goes so well with the tanghoon
As promised i went back to try this lol. A really hearty and filling lunch. Pork was just so tender and the gravy was sweet. Chili's tanginess managed to cut through the pork's richness and and surprisingly it wasnt very fatty. Comfort food at it's best
(A bigger version without the rice as a side costs 12nett if u want to share)
PS apparently water is chargeable at 20cents not sure if this was always the case.
It really felt like home the moment i stepped in(not exaggerating, it felt so comfortable i wanted to sleep there haha)
Got the dry with add-on soup to try both flavours, and they really didnt disappoint. Only gripe i had was that the beef slices were not very tender. Everything else was spot on, from the noodles( did i mention i love thai noodlez? Its like kway teow crossed up tsukemen mochi noodles), to the hearty aromatic broth, and the ultimate tender braised beef( what a cut with marbling of tendons, gives my grandma's rendition a run for its money). Gonna be back for the pork knuckles very soon
It's not always the kind of food we need. But it's the kind of food we always deserve - warm, rounded and comforting. New review up - link in bio!
faith in thai food restored. anytime a mum pop store with an ensemble of thais in the kitchen will make me excited. nothing fanciful here, just sincere homey fork tender braised pork knuckle with rice. simple does it.
Delicious post-dinner treat at an authentic eatery I call my new favourite place for Pad Thai. Definitely one of the better versions around, this version had an amazing al dente texture, a pleasing smoky fragrance, and just the right balance of sweet & savoury flavours.
Thai Noodle House is a great place to grab a quick bite if you find yourself in the Coronation neighbourhood. Located just opposite Coronation plaza, it's a family-run restaurant that serving Thai food that always hits the spot. You can't and won't go wrong ordering the classic beef noodle soup - rich & flavourful beef broth, tender sliced beef, beef balls, fresh bean sprouts and coriander, you might find yourself slurping it all up before you even realise. As the seating capacity is limited, you might want to go early, or on weekday nights where it's less crowded.
Looking for a cozy environment to settle your lunch at? It's good to take yourself far away from the crowded area for lunch. This noodle house has incredibly enhance my dining experience to the next level. It's like home-dining experience you can never get at any restaurant. The food they serve literally taste as home-cooked as what you can find in Thailand. And everything there is absolutely delicious!!
Authentic, refreshing and undeniably a treat for those who are in the Bukit Timah and have a craving for desserts

Once you step into the home-styled restaurant, you will be captivated by its cozy ambience and distinctly Thai-inspired interior.
Special mention to the Thai Olive Rice, stir fried minced black olives with minced pork and topped with coriander leaves.
And of course the signature Beef Noodle Soup boasting the incredibly smooth and chewy rice noodle simmered in the flavoursome broth.
