Umami > Truffle carbo > hae bi hiam aglio > crab pomodoro

my favourite still is the umami prawn hehe truffle carbonara portion for some reason seems alot more (diff pasta noodles) the other 2 is just mehhhhh

Both dishes were very good. Would order again. Fish was very fresh! But the teriyaki sauce for the pasta was abit too sweet making it jelak after a few mouthfuls. The pomodora pasta really had a kick, and taste like chilli crab sauce. Only drawback to this is at this outlet is the staff. Came at around 845pm, they kept saying they close at 930pm and we have to leave by then. We were okay with it, as we just wana have a quick meal and go, having a good 45 mins to have our pasta. Before even sitting us down, they kept rushing us, and wanted us to order and pay immediately. I found it quite rude of them, no matter what they should be polite and can prompt us when the time is nearing, not rushing every process and kept asking if we were done. For that this outlet recommended is a MEH.

Worth with BB 1-1 but I don’t think I will be back... the chilli crab pasta’s crab were shreds (unlike soft shell crab served in other cafes) and both pastas were pretty standard! Waiters were friendly and environment was cosy tho!

Worth it with Burpple 1-for-1. Aglio olio is not spicy which is great for those who don’t take spicy. If you do like spice, the crab pasta is pretty good.

3.75⭐ We couldn't decide what to eat and ends up here as we have a movie to catch. The Benjamin Barker cafe at Cineleisure has been rebrand to Assembly Ground and offer the same menu (except lamb shank) as the Assembly Ground at The Cathay. I realised that there was no service charge when we last dined at The Cathay Assembly Ground 2 years ago but there's service charge now.
As we are using the HSBC entertainer, the 1 for 1 deal applies to mains, pastas and pizzas. I had tempura mentaiko pasta while WB had chilli lime seafood aglio olio. The portion is huge and I could eat the battered fish on it's own as a meal. The linguine is slightly sweet which is not to my liking. WB likes the seafood aglio olio which I find it spicy.
