This hard to find speakeasy bar isn’t the cheapest bar but for a one time experience the interiors does give off a Captain Hook’s Lair vibes. Will still prefer some other bar options personally. Here I got a bespoke gin cocktail - nothing fancy but $26 whoops.
Ordered this as it's name sounded very interesting and it did live up to expectations. There was some rose extract being used but the proportion was well controlled as it did not overpower the vodka. The frozen rose and rose bits also provided an additional sensory experience. This bar is crazy popular so I would recommend getting there before 10pm if you like a seat!
Loving the moderately dark ambience here with Elton John and various other goldies serenading the cafe. Great place to chill with your friends over a cuppa.
Served in a cute elephant cup 🐘. I looked this up because I was curious - Sullivan is an elephant that performed for an american circus troop in the early 1900s - definitely fits in with the theme of the bar.
Lightly bitter drink with the lavendar and rosemary giving floral + herbal notes🍃.

Hot, buttery magic begging to be unleashed in all its oozy, creamy glory from its cheese wheel prison, then whisked away on toast into my mouth. Pickled balsamic grapes and honey stand guard to provide acidity and sweetness.
Taste: 4/5
The corpulent corpse of the kraken sang to me like sirens to an ancient mariner, beckoning me to plunder the ebony treasure within. Alas, false hope - underseasoned Mexican squid ink rice and a watery chipotle aioli brulee only served to condemn this cephalopod that could not make the cut, to the status of merely treading culinary water.
Taste: 2/5
Beyond their mains, I prefer their sides. Esp this baked cheese with pickled grapes. You could spread the cheese onto the toast like butter and eat it whole with the grape. The sweetness from the grapes countered the heaviness from the cheese making it so addictive. .

Highly recommend you to try their whisky sour. Well balanced flavors with an ass kicking aftertaste.
For the health conscious(you shouldn't be in a bar) drinker. Moroccan spice infused quinoa, organic sprouts and baked chicken thigh doused in a thin roast pepper cream sauce. Mild both in flavour and the impression it made on me, the saving grace was only that the chicken was tender and juicy.
Taste: 2.5/5
For the more vegetarian inclined barflies who fancy a bite, there is the Tarte Flambe Au Jardin, or Alsace style vegetable pizza. A thin and crispy pastry base is topped with alfalfa sprouts, roast pumpkin, sun-dried tomato, feta cheese and dollops of pumpkin puree. Cut into the wobbly yolk in the center to provide some sauce to the rather dry proceedings. An alright dish by my books but by no means a standout.
Taste: 3/5
Slow days in the office inevitably turn my idling mind toward the thought of imbibing libations of a more spirituous nature and spinning unecessarily long prose about the virtues of alcohol. The Sheik makes his entrance with glittering fanfare in a beautifully etched silver cup, topped with a fluorish of torched Turkish Delight, so cruelly speared upon a miniature sword that sits delicately atop the rim. The gin, Turkish black tea, lemon and cardamom spiced concoction evoked scenes of Middle Eastern mystique and caravans plying the Silk Road, with its gentle yet complex flavour profile, and its sweetness was well tempered by the citrus and subtle cardamom notes.
A beloved speakeasy bar food staple executed well, the parmesan and cheddar cheeses used were perhaps not the strongest in flavour, but I certainly appreciated its' silky texture and smooth taste coating the just over al-dente macaroni. Loved the crunchy oversized croutons and scallions on top as well.
Taste: 3.5/5
Plump shrimp sauteed in parsley garlic brown butter and dusted with dehydrated lemon and paprika for spice and zing. Once the prawns were gone, I was grabbing any bread I could find on the table to mop up that addictively crustacean-y butter sauce.
Taste: 3.5/5
Made with cheddar and Parmesan cheese, this is decent enough comfort food for lining your tummy in preparation for more drinks. The big croutons lend the creamy dish extra texture which isn't a bad idea. Although the portion isn't huge, I would recommend ordering this to share because it is pretty rich.
At last night's invited tasting session, we had a chance to sample quite a few of The Spiffy Dapper's new dinner menu. For main courses, there're only three choices but the small plates offer a wider selection. This "Stuffed Squid" was one of the latter. Looking like a fat bolster, the really tender squid was stuffed with inky "Mexican rice". For me, what really made the dish tasty was the fancifully named "chipotle aioli brûlée" sauce. I think it would have been a tad boring without it.
This yet-to-named fruity concoction is too easy to drink despite being quite strong. Created with rye whisky, lemon juice and syrups made from the real fruit of pomegranates, starfruit and honeydew, it's a good one to start your night with.
From Dapper Coffee to Spiffy Dapper, we were amazed by some of the food offered here. Silver sliver lining in your coffee and tea!
Spanish Meatballs (SGD 21) - The recommended dish here with crispy iberico bits amongst tender meat, with roasted red pepper and sundried tomato sauce. So addictive that our neighboring table actually ordered 3 portions.

Yes, u heard me right. Pork meatballs. Not a huge fan of pork but the pork meatballs here are to die for. Juicy, moist n well seasoned. Goes totally well with the awesome cocktails served here😋😋😋 #noedit #flashismybestfriend thank you @stormscape for the photography tips
This is a 1920s speakeasy come alive, jazz and dim, romantic lighting to boot. I'd come here after dinner to keep the mood going with some delicious bespoke cocktails that the bartenders whip up for you based on your own unique preferences. Love the orange lamps and dark mahogany furniture.
Come with an open mind, and you’ll get drinks you never knew you wanted (or needed). Cocktails start from $18. @spiffydapper
