This starter sealed the deal for me! Battered up cauliflower is deep-fried for crispy, cheesy stalks peppered with parmiagiana reggiano, on dill yoghurt sauce. The combination of salty, tangy and oh so crispy cauliflower is sublime and incredibly addictive too. Brownie points for the good, sizeable sharing portions!

Hummus done three ways: with chickpea, beetroot and sweet potato, and all delicious in their own rights. The serving of bread it comes with is a little sad, but it’s only RM8 to get more bread so take heart. It was plenty satisfying to gobble up that hummus on its own, especially that Indian-spiced sweet potato one!

Value for money lunchtime! Two Hands does an excellent meatball sub, stuffed with three large yummy lamb meatballs with good bite. The sauce hits you with a little bit of heat at the back of your tongue, but of the very bearable and enjoyable sort. Would’ve liked the bun a little warmer and fluffier, but overall no complains! Also adore the abundance of sweet potato fries with mayo on the side.

Nice to look at and even better to eat, this hummus is a must-order. You’ll get three flavours of sweet potato (very savoury), beetroot (light and sweet) and chickpea (slightly spicy). Personally I think it should have been served with flat bread instead of croissants and bread slices, but they still sorta work to scoop everything up.

I really like the thoughtfulness Two Hands has put into the menu with dishes that are vegetarian and even gluten free, just like this dish. Each cauliflower is super chunky and while the batter can feel a bit heavy, the refreshing yoghurt mint sauce helps cut through that heaviness. Order this to share!

The prices comes a little steep for this tiny sub, but the flavours and portion size make up for it. The meatballs are very juicy and very well-seasoned, which match the slightly spicy sauce it’s coated in. The bread however is slightly disappointing (mostly because it turned rather soggy after sitting on the plate for a whole). But those sweet potato fries! I demand an extra side of just that.
