second time coming here and the iced oat latte is v good though a bit pricey, but the staff has forgotten to change to oat milk for the second time iโ€™m here after charging extra for the oat milk. for those who are lactose intolerant/ vegan, remember to watch the staff closely as they prepare your coffee :)

Surprised to find Cedeleโ€™s Gula Melaka Pandan cake at Workplace Espresso bar. The cake is as fluffy as I remember it to be and not too sweet. Perfect dessert treat ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

There's something about a good yuzu cheesecake that is invigorating. A citrusy tang of yuzu had my tongue tingling upon the first bite; and pairing it with the sweetness from the raspberry glaze, it was refreshing. The buttery biscuit base and pistachio bits added a coarse texture that complemented well with the overall rich and creaminess of the cheesecake.

They used cakes from Cedele, and they had the cake set too. Only difference was the price. The cake set here was $11.50, as opposed to Cedeleโ€™s $10. But I think the coffee cup was bigger than Cedeleโ€™s. Only came with Americano. I chose a premium cake, so must add $0.80. This tall layered cake was called Ultimate Matcha Choc Cake. Very decadent, a little sweet, with mini crispy choc rice balls inside. Very nice.

Loved the generous variety of ingredients - soft scrambled eggs, avocado, truffle mushrooms, crispy grilled bacon, and salad leaves. Their waffle wasnโ€™t the crispy kind but more of a soft, moist version with a slight tang that paired really well with the ingredients. We were somewhat confused by the presence of butter and berry jam and felt that they didnโ€™t quite go with the waffles and other ingredients. That said, the berry jam was a lovely sweet-sour mix of various berries.

We liked that the egg yolk was still oozy as well as the addition of sweet caramelized onions. However, we would have liked for more onions or some form of sauce as the patty itself lacked seasoning and was too oily. The sourdough bagel was dense which helped to balance out the greasy meat but was lacking the slight sweetness and tang we expect from a sourdough bagel. It was also a tad hard and dry.

๐…๐ฅ๐š๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐ž - made with single-origin beans from local roaster @2degreesnorth, it was a smooth and enjoyable cup. We enjoyed the creamy mouthfeel and could taste hints of chocolate and nutty notes. While we liked that it was not too bitter or acidic, it was more of an easy-to-drink white coffee that lacked the more unique floral/ fruity fun profiles that we personally always look out for. Bonus points to the gorgeous latte art though!

They also offer tea from @theteastorysg at a relatively affordable price (given the use of two tea bags), and a range of cakes.
