Bugis Xin Yuan Ji Fish Soup 新源记 (Northpoint City)

Tried the outlet after trying their main outlet at Bugis.

Their fish soup is slightly pricy at $8.80 and while quality is nice. Is not as good as the main outlet at Bugis.

Is still worth trying if you live in the north and wish to try.

Teochew Red Grouper Fish Soup 潮州红斑鱼片汤 (S$15.80)
Rice 米饭 (S$1)

Took over the space formerly occupied by ministry of rojak.
Served in a shallow dish, with bean curd, preserved vegetable, shiitake mushroom, tomato, shredded ginger, topped with coriander leaves.
The broth was pretty overwhelming by the salted vegetables and sour plum.
The chilli sauce was not bad with fermented bean in it.
