Caviar, foie gras, black truffle flakes, fried garlic bits, medium rare beef slices and a sous vide egg topped on a bowl of warm Japanese rice. What’s there not to love?! I’ll answer that. Nothing, absolutely nothing. This was a delicious meal... the Donburi of our dreams! The burpple 1-for-1 deal made this such a wonderful and worth it meal. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Last Wednesday night, my friends celebrated my advanced birthday at one of my wishlisted café cum bar!! ☺️
Great place for social gathering @rookerysg (Hong Leong outlet) — Coffee & Bar in the CBD area, is a brunch café by day and restaurant bar by night 🤩

Inspired by the Australian and American casual dining culture, Rookery presents a unique dining experience with emphasis on their locally sourced ingredients. End the night with an ice-cold beer chillin’ with your friends and colleagues, how does that sound? 👍🏻

Thanks Rebecca, Kian Wee and Ian for the bday treat once again!! 😉🍷
Felt this was pretty worth the deal! (; Comes with miso soup as well~
Satisfying bowl. Citrus tuna and salmon were good and in satisfying portions. No ambiance. Good for a quick meal post workout or during lunch. Burpple 1 for 1 was great! $12.90 for 1 bowls.
Round the girls up for a cosy lunch at Tanglin Mall. Their Set Lunch (from $28) includes a soup of the day, chef's pizza or pasta and a dessert (add $8). You could also take Burppler Xing Wei Chua's advice and go for the Chicken Souvlaki ($28), where chicken thigh skewers are grilled over charcoal and wood and garnished with rosemary, caramelised red shallots, roasted garlic, and lemon. Also good are the Grilled Octopus ($28) and the eggplant-and-minced-beef dish, Maria's Moussaka ($32).

Perfect for a lunch date in Orchard is this new pasta bar by the Les Amis Group. The 3 Course Lunch Menu (from $22) is a steal, with an appetiser, a pasta and a dessert. On appetisers, have the Burrata that is silky smooth and served with pesto, or the sinfully crispy fried Calamari with mayonaise. For your pasta, you won’t go wrong with the hearty Tagliatelle Bolognese. End with the delectable Lemon Cheesecake.

Good time now to try out Kuro Maguro with their festive seasonal menu promo! Valid only during dinner times from now till 29th Feb, they’re serving up this Kaisen Chirashi Meshi set that’s topped with a variety of sashimi and seafood - anago, salmon, maguro, crabmeat, negitoro, kanpachi, ikura, prawn and mussel. Rice was more vinegary and though we would have liked a better bite, everything was fresh. The bowl also comes nicely in a filling set of chawanmushi, fried chicken, miso soup and fruits. It’s value for money we’d say!
Thank you @kuromagurod and @jpassportsg for having us! ✨

All- in Brekkie
Chai Latte
Ice Lemonade
Total: $29.50
Crowded on a Sat noon, waited awhile outside to get a seat inside. The all-in breakfast was surprisingly filling even though there's little crabs, but all the ingredients were fresh and yummy. No complaints on that. The ice lemonade was refreshing, the sweetness and sourness was well balanced. For the chai latte, it was heavier on the spice side, perfect on a rainy day and went well with the breakfast platter. Quiet a nice place to chill on a weekend.

Nice presentation of this Lobster tagliatelle. The taste amaze us as well, freshness from Lobster and the original taste can still be felt from this Boston Lobster. A lovely rendition to it. Chili blends came surprisingly similarities to chili crabs but less strong in taste to those used on crabs. Blends mellow with the tagliatelle and brings out the essence in this dish. The only downside to this meal is the tagliatelle came out slightly tougher to chew on certain pieces but otherwise it kept the dish balance in flavour.

After work, come with the colleages for simple dinner and drinks. Note-worthy dishes include their Pan-seared Salmon ($16) as well as their aromatic Prawn Aglio Olio ($13). Be sure to wash all that down with a pint or two of Little Creatures IPA ($9).
Note this spot in the CBD for after work hangs with your colleagues. Start with appetisers like the Samurai Kueh Pie Tee ($8) or the Insta-worthy Mythical Chawanmushi ($5). On mains, have the Belly Roll Mee ($15) that features incredibly crispy roasted pork belly skin in a concentrated mee siam gravy!
