We also got ourselves a kaya swiss roll & we feel it’s quite affordable bc look at the size of it!!! As usual, the cake was really soft & not to sweet but the pandan taste wasn’t strong enough for us as compared to the durian :( it’s still nice tho, but we just don’t recommend eating this after eating something sweet bc this would just become tasteless 🥺

We bought the regular sized durian swiss roll after queuing up for about 30 mins at 12pm on a Friday. Pretty impressed with this! Cake was soft, not too sweet & it had a really rich durian flavour with durian bits in the cream. Definitely a good snack to satisfy your durian cravings!

We ordered the cereal prawns, sambal kangkong, honey pork ribs, chaipo beancurd & salted veg soup. The cereal prawns were nicely cooked & they were very generous w the cereal. We really loved the honey pork ribs too, it was well-seasoned & the pork was tender so it came off the bone easily. The sambal kangkong & chaipo beancurd however, were just way too salty. We tried to finish as much as we could, but it was just too salty & we found ourselves reaching for our drinks after every bite to wash the salt away. Really disappointing :( the salted veg soup was just average. However, the value set came w these 5 dishes + 4 drinks & 4 desserts for $88++ so I guess it’s quite worth. Just be sure to avoid the sambal kangkong & chaipo beancurd the next time u visit this outlet! (Maybe it’s just the chefs today but the saltiness was really horrible) 😫

This salted egg crab was to die for! Salted egg sauce was creamy but not too heavy at the same time so it wasn’t jelat & it went really well w the mantous (6 for $3.80). The mantous were also well-fried, soft and fluffy on the inside but crispy on the outside! Would definitely recommend this!

Saw a long queue outside this bakery & decided to get a few egg tarts to see what the crave was all about, and it did not disappoint! Pastry was crispy (not the typical soft egg tart crust) so it gave a nice crunch when we bit into it and the custard was soooooo smooth that it just melts in ur mouth!!! It was not overly-sweet too, which was a plus point! We also tried the coconut egg tart ($2.20) & we loved it bc the strips of coconut inside the egg custard gave the tart a nice texture & the coconut added a nice flavour to the tart without overpowering the egg taste! It really depends on personal preference, but we liked the coconut egg tart more! Although they are slightly pricey, we would definitely come back for more!

Pork loin, vegetable & half boiled egg. Although the number of tendons in this bowl were significantly less compared to the chicken and mushroom bowl, we really enjoyed the pork! It was super soft on the inside, & the batter was crispy on the outside, so it made it really easy to eat. The egg was also perfectly poached & we loved the stickiness of the rice. More vegetables would have been nice bc 2 sticks of long beans were not enough to cover the jelat-ness of the pork. But still, great dish! We were also really impressed by the service of the staff!

Chicken thigh, chicken breast, shimeji shiitake mushroom, vegetables (2 pcs) & half-boiled egg. We also paid $1 more to upgrade it to the spicy tendon sauce! We loved this! They were really generous w the rice & the tendons. The tendons were also crispy & not soggy, so there was a satisfying crunch whenever we bit into it - what we always look for when we eat tendon! The chicken was also tender & not dry! We prefer the spicy tendon sauce to the normal one bc it gave an extra kick to the dish, which we really enjoyed. The egg was also perfectly poached, so the rice was coated in the glorious egg yolk. Each bowl of tendon also came w miso soup & chawamushi + a salad so it’s really value for money. Highly recommended! Heard that the queue is always long for this outlet but we went at like 12pm on a Saturday & we only waited for 5 mins before we were seated! 👍🏼

Beef w chimichurri, avocado, melted cheese & coriander mayo. Beef was so super soft that it almost melted in our mouths & it was a good combination w the chimichurri! Couldn’t really taste the avocado & coriander mayo tho but still a really good dish overall! The tomatoes & onions on the top were abit meh tho - didn’t have that refreshing taste to cut thru the heaviness of the cheese, which was abit disappointing! But overall, we prefer the beef to the chicken quesadilla!

Marinated chicken w tomatoes, onions & melted cheese. This was surprisingly good! Chicken was tender and well-seasoned & the tortillas were nice & crispy. Portion was decent too & they were v generous w the cheese which tasted delicious a the chicken! Definitely worth it w the 1-for-1 deal on entertainer 😛 we feel that this was more value for money but taste wise, we still prefer the quesadilla at papi’s!

Crispy corn tortillas served w avocado guacamole and sour cream. Chips were nice & crisp but the guac & sour cream were just average. Definitely wouldn’t pay $10 for this :(

They had a promo where u buy 3 slices of cake & get $3 off (so we technically paid $2.60 for this). However, we were disappointed w this cake, it didn’t really have much of the martini taste, so it was just a v plain lychee cake. Didn’t really like the texture of the cake as well bc it gave a v grainy aftertaste. Although this was supposedly one of their bestsellers, we wouldn’t recommend this!

No regrets ordering this! The chicken was really nicely seasoned & it was grilled till it was really tender that it practically melted in our mouths. We also loved how generous they were w the cheese (we managed to capture the satisfying CHEESE PULL 🤤) & their portion size was decent too. Would recommend to share this w a friend bc it may become a bit too jelat after a while bc of the cheese. The salad was slightly zesty & sour but it was good bc it helps to cut thru the jelatness, making it easier to eat! We actually preferred this to the fish tacos! RECOMMENDED 🙌🏼
