This is literally my go to for comfort food / rainy days😭💯👍🏻 It is at a Kopitiam, probably 10mins walk from Yishun MRT and it costs around $4 if I dont remember wrongly!

I love Yishun Blk 233 Ke Kou Mian!!! Maybe one day I will try the one at Bukit Panjang to compare🤪

Ps. For those who dont know, Koka Noodles = Maggie🤣

Newly open store that serves pretty value for money BKT. More of a herbal than peppery taste, just the way I like it. But I personally feel that the herbal taste could be more intense. For the price, you get 2 meaty ribs and a few other ingredients such as meat balls, button mushrooms, beancurd skin. No wonder there is always a long queue.

6 dollars👍👍👍

Crayfish seafood soup. It comes in 6 or 10 dollars. The soup is rich and tasty, definitely have to match with rice to enjoy.

1 crayfish, sliced fish, tofu, tomato and marinated mushroom pork.

Worth to give it a try if you are Seafood lover❤️❤️❤️

Tried after my friend's recommendation. I would say that this is better than Katong Laksa one. The broth has the nice spicy coconut flavour.

Katong Laksa is overpriced and does not have much taste.

For a market price of $2.80/$3.30, I would say it is very flavourful.

Curry Hor Fun?? What is going on?? The very unique curry chicken hor fun ($10 for medium size) from this zi char stall is drenched in really fragrant curry and has loads of fresh chicken and fish slices.

The claypot big prawn glass noodles ($15 for small, enough for 2 don't worry) came with 6 large prawns. Though the prawns weren't the freshest, the glass noodles really soaked up all of the umami flavours coming from the prawn and has that beautiful wok hei.

The salted egg yolk pork ribs ($15 for medium) is quite different from other zi char stalls as it is dry on the outside but don't worry. The meat sure is tender and succulent.

What a good find😍 will be back real soon once this whole situation is over!

From So Good
火腿一丁面餐
Home style instant noodle, with savoury soup, sliced ham.
Bundled with butter sandwich, fried egg and brewed coffee.
Yummy breakfast.

Despite that the weather was scorching hot, that didn’t stop me from chomping down on the charcoal cooked porridge with mixed meat of minced and sliced pork. Though it might seem like food for the sick, this plain looking bowl actually packs all the flavours from the natural sweetness from the broken rice grains to the freshness of the meat that was sourced from the nearest market.

Headed to Ding Ji in Bishan for their Fish Maw Bak Chor Mee and it is fairly satisfying! Price is slightly cheaper ($8) for the fish maw soup, and ingredients are fairly generous.

Small mishap at the stall this morning when the cash register/POS was down and no orders were taken. The staff were clueless and helpless about what to do, and seeked helped from the waiting customers. Glad to provide some service assistance to them to resolve the technical issues, it’s back to normal business now!

Ordered from @uptownnasilemak their crispy, juicy, succulent fried chicken leg and added sambal Sotong all In for $9.30. Damn worth it! 👍
